J. V.Went for a surprise birthday party and was overwhelmed when the landlady said she had prepared vegan food specifically for me. I was just expecting to buy crisps from the bar. Lovely, traditional pub. Wonderful staff! Thank you so much!!!

D. S.This is a decent place for cheap food. The food is good with decent sized portions but in my opinion it's only good, not great. There is a small beer garden at the front which is on a very busy road. Take care to keep dogs on leads when in the beer garden. The decor is in desperate need of modernising, although I hope they will retain some of the lovely original features when doing so.
