It was OK. Service was good. Paid £5.99 for wings with the sauce. Thought they would have came tossed in sauce but the sauce came on the side. Wings didn’t look great. Prob wouldn’t order them again.

Absolutely love that live music is back at The Royal oak. I only popped in for a roast and I was pleasantly surprised to find Live music playing, apparently it was an Open mic night and it is now on every week! I also got told about the Thursday night Quiz and The Monday Night Rock n Roll Bingo which sounds fab, I will definitely be back very very soon!!! And these Passion fruit cocktails were gorgeous 😍🍸 Highly recommend, amazing pub grub, fab atmosphere and friendly staff.

Lovely pub in Chorlton. Just happened to pass and thought to try the place. Very friendly service at decent prices and they keep the beer well! The server at the time, James was very friendly and for someone who has never been made me feel very welcome! Will definitely make the effort and visit again!

This is a large local pub in the centre of Chorlton ... recently refurbished with well-priced drinks ....the place to go to watch a football match ... large with multi screens and a pull down projector screen for the big games. Upstairs there is a separate bar and dance area for salsa classes and dancing on certain evenings.

Went to a christening in function room above pub. Seems very disorganised and poorly staffed, though there were many staff downstairs. Staff were friendly when around. Looked like a decent place to watch the football with many screens in the pub. Didnt eat so cannot comment.

Popped into the royal oak chorlton in the evening with my two friends. We was served by callum who had excellent recommendations on wines. He was also very patient with us. Ryan also came over to our table to make sure our stay was welcoming and offered more refreshments / more ice for our cooler. Would definitely recommend this place. Beutiful pub and can't recommend it enough. Safe, friendly and clean!

We went for the lunchtime game one Saturday and ended up staying for the whole day. Great atmosphere. Lots of sports and a great range of beers. Becky behind the bar was very attentive and funny. She was very knowledgeable about the guest ales and has sold us in to coming back for all the events on for the rest of the year! The food was delicious and I'd highly recommend!

Love the decor of this modern yet stylish pub. The old matched very well with the new and the food served is of a high standard compared to most retail pubs. The Royal Oak have provided an upper room for a church service every Sunday from 10:30 until 12:00. They have been extremely supportive and provided free food for an adult baptism recently. Community support is so important and the Royal Oak have certainly met the brief. Keep up the good work.

A great place for a family lunch or even a nice pint after work. Well maintained environment with plenty of drink options and tables to relax. Pool and darts are a big hit here as the locals love to spend most their time here. Gets really busy towards the end of the week, and has an amazing Saturday night entertainment such as karaoke and live djs.

Very nice Victorian pub, with a very local clientele - the language can get 'fruity' over the racing or football on the TV and some customers seem to spend their days between here and the bookies across the road. Good beer and lovely staff. The food isn't bad, but nothing to get excited about. Great place to have a drink, but probably not the place to go on a first date or with children.

Just done it up and it is very smart indeed! Good range of drinks and not too pricey, but it is more expensive than The Spread Eagle and Wetherspoon's. Busy and very noisy on the Saturday that I called in, but was still able to find a seat and have a conversation. Not tried the food yet, but I will and I am looking forward to going back.

Good local pub with a decent drinks selection, which has discounted certain drinks during live TV football matches and an hour before and after. Pool tables at the back and a wide pub food menu available most of the day. Large TV screens throughout for sport watchers. Small beer garden Karaoke most Saturdays

Good food at reasonable prices. Has recently been refurbished though sorry couldn't tell a huge diffrrence from last visit. Chap behind the bar who took our food/drink order, think he may be the manager. Though he was whizzing here & there he was very efficient & friendly. There were a group of older men watching the sport on TV & unfortunately there was some bad language coming from out them. This was really the only down side as me & my hubby were plus a group of ladies having a meal inbetween us & the group of men. Would visit again as the food is lovely, cod & chips & pork belly.

Can be a bit loud sometimes. Staff ok. Patrons are generally the sort you would not cross Street to avoid, with a few exceptions where you would. However marked down a star because they had no butter on Christmas day. They expected me to eat margarine!
