Proper boozer. Solid range of keg and cask ale. Courteous, attentive staff. Nice mix of regulars and occasionals. Good range of snacks. Dog friendly. You can still get a great pint for £3.50 which is quite rare for the area nowadays.

I enjoy everything about this place. They allow dogs, have great beer, and have such lovely staff. I have never had anything other than a super-warm welcome in this place. It’s somewhere I feel comfortable to sit by myself and read a book without being bothered, whilst drinking lovely beer, yet at the same time can be friendly with the beauts behind the bar. 5* for everything.

I really like this place. A wide selection of mainly their own beer but others are available in bottles and cans. The pub has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere like any good pub should. Staff are nice and unpretentious and there seems to be a good mix of regulars and occasional visitors -like me.

Nice little pub, part of a small group of Marble pubs in Manchester. Nice own brew beers and some quality guest beers too. Small place, can get busy but a fair amount of seats crammed in. Has a decent area outside too for smokers and catching some sun.

Excellent beer selection and interestingly laid out pub. There's a beer garden at the back and a few rooms to sit indoors. Could do with a little TLC on the decor front and it's always very busy, but a nice spot, especially in the sunshine!

A great bar with excellent beers from their microbrewery; The Marble Brewery in Manchester. No music, so good for conversation, windows at front hinge fully open giving it an inside/outside feel when warmer weather, also has a decent seating area outside at front with barbecue at times.

Excellent range of superb, cask conditioned Marble ales and a wide selection of fine, foreign beers. It's my brother's new local - wish it was mine.

This is a nice bar with a really lovely pub atmosphere. It's nice and quiet (which can be a very welcome change if you visit the other bars in the area a lot) and they obviously have a good selection of beers being a Marble bar. Nice place for a chat.

Great little bar that was one of the forerunners of cask ales provision in Chorlton about twenty years ago. Part of the Manchester Marble group, so expect their beers, plus chosen guest ales. Very small interior, but extends to outside front drinking spot where you can watch the world go by. Recommended.

My favourite place to go for an ale in Manchester. I can highly recommend the Earl Grey IPA. It's a great setting where you can play Jenga, drafts or chess with other chilled out souls. Is extremely popular at the weekends so would recommend a week day visit. Love the bar nuts too!

Has always been a well visited establishment, currently only two of us but it is a working day. Previous visits have had a busy atmosphere with good ales both draft and bottled. One of a number of micro pubs within a half mile radius. As a member of CAMRA, I say well done.

Love the Marble. Have spent many an afternoon in the beer garden chatting rubbish and drinking lots of pints of tasty ale. They offer gift boxes of the Marble beer bottles to take out or give as a present. Can get a bit crowded at busy times so be prepared to squeeze your way to the bar or toilet.

Quiet bar with a good selection of beers at the bar and staff who really know their beers. Very relaxed, chilled out atmosphere and a great place to while away an afternoon with conversation around the table A little on the pricey side but this is Chorlton so exactly what you'd expect.

Great offering of keg and canned beers. Tried Firece Peanut riot and Pint. Both excellent beers plus they sell my favourite Jalapeño Pieces by Syderstone. What's really craxy is you can sut behind the bar here so watch out for getting roped in to pulling your weight. What's not to like. God bless Manchester beers and Marble for bringing another cracker to the party

This is a perfectly fine pub with a decent array of beers, however Marbles own beer is simply too inconsistent, sometimes it's magnificent, other times just OK and that drags it down.
