Always good. But with all pubs in this chain. You know what your going to get. Decent food and a good drive at a reasonable price

Went in my local on Sunday 15th May a guround 21:30pm & was disappointed to see a fairly quiet pub with not a great deal of punters. My neighbour and I started talking to a couple on a table who were arm wrestling a table away from the bar. The grey haired male in his mid to late 50's seemed quite merry. The female seemed to have a more athletic build than the male and seemed to be winning. Ended up having some banter with the couple & their friends and had a plesant evening chatting with them. The staff were also quite chatty & friendly. Also went into the beer garden in the rear which had one guy at a table on his own & also a table with four or five girls 20's to 30's. The drinks were reasonable prices as it's a Wetherspoons & I have sampled the cooked breakfast there a few times before which was tasty.

Another excellent offering from wetherspoon's. Great food, great prices, fast, friendly service (despite being really busy), nice and clean, large premises. Parking is limited (6 cars max if you're good at parallel parking!) but we managed to sneak into a space so it was all good. Like I always say, if they can offer what they do for the prices they charge then anyone who charges more is ripping you off.

Came here for a breakfast and coffee. Obviously the coffee was really good, because it’s Lavazza. Breakfast was good too. Served hot and fresh. Sausages not the greatest, but overall the break was tasty enough. Customer service was polite and friendly. Visually everything looked clean and tidy. Couldn’t really judge the atmosphere, as arrived at about 09:30am. There were however a couple of old boys enjoying a Kronenbourg breakfast and watching homes under the hammer, on the screen. Decor of the pub is good and there is plenty of free parking nearby.

Food and drink ok but the place was very draughty and cold they are leaving doors wide open to ventilate the place until 1 October. This place is beginning to look a bit tacky could do with a deep clean and redecorating.

Called in for a coffee and Bacon sandwich, the place was clean and tidy, a young lad who was a waiter was working hard to clear the tables and keeping the place clean. Service at the bar was very quick and the waitress very pleasant.

Woman's bathroom is amazing great stylish beer garden and friendly staff. The food is delicious and I haven't had a bad meal yet. They do excellent steaks and a choice selection of burgers and I personally recommend the fruit ice cream sundaes 😍

Grest place for food and drink, can get very busy so that means plenty of people ordering food at the bar. Which also means if you just want a drink you can have a lengthy wait to get served. Really good outside seating though. And being Wetherspoons it means the ladies toilets are much better than the average pub. No car park except for a little layby outside. Huge car park a few minutes walk away, free to park.

We had the fish Friday meal The fish and chips were beautiful lightly battered fish as asked and hot The peas however were luke warm bordering on cold it was mentioned to the waitress so i hope this was reported to chef constructive criticism Always enjoyed our wetherspoon meal Im sure it would have been rectified. If Wetherspoons was just the toilets, I would undoubtedly visit more frequently- A* quality. The beer garden is also definitely above par, especially for Walkden. However, the hot sauce could be 100x hotter and the pint glasses should be a better, more creative shape. The ratio of salt to ketchup was too high for my taste and the tall back of some of the chairs is just ridiculous. If Wetherspoons got shut down and the building demolished, I would not build a Wetherspoons in its place. Despite this, I am overwhelmed with pride to be a citizen in Walkden with the knowledge that this Wetherspoons has won Loo of the Year award. This makes me very proud and I am honored to be sat here appreciating that the amount of holes in the salt and pepper shakers are the same, which is very rare nowadays. Although, I am very disheartened that most of the condiments in the tray are lid-side up which makes for a more strenuous excrement of sauce onto the plate since it resides at the bottom of the bottle. In conclusion, the dented watering can hanging in the beer garden is a deal breaker for me so I shall not be returning. Sincerly, weeping in Wetherspoons.
