A good pint of Guinness here at Corner Boy, not the best in Manchester, but definitely a good one. Has the potential to be a great Irish Bar, but feel like it may have identity issues at the moment. If passing would definitely go in again. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Me and my wife enjoyed our meal here. It's a ribs or burger place really. With great offers on different nights like a jug of beer and ribs 4 2 for £20 on Wednesdays. Very retro and well lated out. It's got outdoor seating if you Wana be on the street on a hot day.

A different kind of style of decor, simple and if you're going to be wearing shorts or a short skirt your legs will stick to the wooden benches. The burger was good, nice presentation wasn't too much of a fan of the onion rings. The waitress was nice.

First time trying on my usual breakfast Friday. I got the hollondaise eggs and my mate got the full English. The food was pretty good if I'm being honest. The bacon was a particular standout, candied almost. They also have signature hash browns which you must try (I had them instead of the muffins with my eggs benedict). They don't have filter coffee (shame) so I had an Americano coffee, which was excellent, plenty of flavour, just expensive though (£2.30) when you're already paying £9 for your breakfast. That being said, something just didn't feel right, decor maybe. It just didn't seem to have the charm like other NQ breakfast eateries such as Koffee Pot or Cafe North which eer on the greasy spoon side. This place is trying to be a bit more upmarket if that's your thing.

Good food, friendly staff.... Guinness has a lot to be desired. Absolutely terrible pint, warm, huge head at the beginning that mysteriously disappeared. A little training of the staff would sort this out. I won't be back, sorry!

Went on a Wednesday evening late on, and it wasn't too busy. Staff were nice enough but they ran out of wine glasses so had to reuse ours, and the wine wasn't chilled. Overall, quite average and wouldn't avoid the place, but recommend either.

Two of us came here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. The staff are all very friendly. We did have to wait half an hour to get our food, but we were still seated straight away, which was nice. The food itself was very nice, and they even allowed us to exchange the black/white pudding for halloumi. The pancakes with syrup and bacon was very tasty too. Portion sizes were perfect. The cappuccino was one of the best I've tasted in a long time! My only gripe was that they were given to us well before the food arrived; I'd have liked the option to have them later. Overall, would say it was worth the wait - recommended!

Had a great meal with my daughter. It was a busy Saturday night and there was a slight mix up which meant our order got missed but the staff dealt with it fantastically. The waitress Lizzy was brilliant and recovered the situation. Rarely do i complain in restaurants but was just about to when the staff approached me and explained the issues and solutions. This was an excellent display of customer service and the management should reward Lizzy and the other waitress who's name I have forgotten. Would recommend the place.

Found this place by chance. Gave it a go. Really happy we did ! Had breakfast. Food choice was great. The food arrived quickly. And it was delicious. Tasty good quality products. Great coffee. Definately go again. Need to try the pancakes- which looked amazing !! Special shout out to the lovely Irish girl who served us. Real sunny disposition. Made the dining experience all the better. Tried this place for breakfast a few days while in Manchester. Food took quite a while the first day, but as we were warned about this by the staff before we sat down, it was fine. Full English Breakfast was close to perfect. And that's why we came back.

After seeing the waffles and pancakes produced from the breakfast menu, but in the mood for somethibg savoury I paid £11 for two crab cakes and poached eggs.. Worked out as £5.50 for each tiny crab cake and an egg, tasted fine but nothing special. Not good value for money. Left ravenous. Milkshakes were delicious though.

Lively bar with DJ on Friday night. Great music, nice and pleasant staff. Average priced drinks. 1 ladies toilet with frosted glass door leading out to the hallway which I found a little uncomfortable but lovely and clean with plenty of loo roll :-)

West CNR gives a very New York diner vibe. My friends were impressed by the Reuben sandwich. I ordered the Mexican salad which was alright, (what else can expect from a salad). Wish I got to try their juices but their machine wasn't working. I didn't find the staff rude but they were... distant, it took a while to get noticed so I could order and the food did take a while. Worth coming back? Maybe.
