What a great pub, visited here Saturday night I had the lasagne and chips. The lasagne was lovely and the homemade chips best I've ever had in a pub. They had a band on, who where great had the whole pub dancing. Superb pub great staff and landlord ! Will definitely go back. Bet they do a cracking Sunday roast ?

We went to the pub because I had never eaten there before. I was not disappointed and neither were my family members. If you are big eater, I would definitely recommend the Tapas...oh my days, you get alot for your money! Love the place

To say this pub was lovely and pleasant experience would be an understatement! After a beautiful walk in the nearby Reddish Vale nature park, this pub offered delicious food and some lovely pints too, all with warm and wonderful customer service. The playlist is spot on too !

We visited Fri 22nd July for Open mic night, As a new band we have never performed anywhere, they made us feel very welcome and the whole experience was fantastic. A big thanks to everyone there and the staff, we will be back. (Nevermore)

It's a Robinson pub, it's local and it has a huge beer garden with a small climbing frame and 1 swing set. Not much else to say hah. It's food is quality but it's lunch and dinner only at set times. Beer is always bang on. Decor it nice but the only thing lacking is the beer garden, it's so big and yet feels so under used but failing that it really is a nice place for a beer. Can get busy though on the obv days.

Well what can I say...DO NOT GET RID OF THE CHEF...fab choices on the Menu served by lovely friendly staff. Had the Sizzling Prawn Stir Fry which contained in excess of 10 prawns which were perfectly cooked...will definitely be returning to try the Tapas Menu...worth a visit? ABSOLUTELY!!! The Ambience and style of the place is definitely like "Peaky Blinders" 👍💗

Took my Daughter and Granddaughter for lunch and was very happily surprised by the quality. Service, cleanliness and general feel of the place . Was great to visit our friends and watch them perform on open mike night. Chris Lewis & Cath Cassidy. 😉 our first visit in nearly 3 years due to covid. Wish landlord would get the door bar adjusted so door dont slam and punters being overly noisy while folk are singing for us all to enjoy. Some folk are just rude these days.😉

Absolutely stunning steak, I ordered a sirloin at the bar and a few minutes later the staff approached our table to apologise that unfortunately the sirloins were sold out! Gutted... But would I like a fillet steak instead, at no additional charge.... Yes, of course. I was served an absolutely perfectly cooked fillet steak and chips. Extremely tender, great flavours, stunning peppercorn sauce and with a very good pint! Very impressed by good, service, beer and environment... I'll be back!

The Dane Bank is run by a very friendly couple and staff. You are made welcome and well looked after. Friday night is a jamming night were artists can play their instruments with the host band or if you are a group you can also play by yourselves. Solo artists can also sing with or without the host group. Phil grainger runs the sessions and he does a great job. If you want a a good Friday night out I would go to The Dane Bank the sessions start at 9 and finish at Midnight. Get there early to get your seats.

The food here is great. The menu is small but the quality is superb with generous portions and really reasonably priced. There is a massive beer garden at the back with a children's playground. Great for families. We was a party of 20 and the staff dealt with really efficiently. Highly recommended!!

Food and drink is absolutely lovely and the staff too. Wait times when it gets a little bit busy are quite long at the bar as you have to order food at the same time and it has be written down by the staff. They also have really good events on through summer and a huge garden out the back so that kids can have fun aswell as the parents.

Ok place. I went for a quick (soft) drink while viewing houses in the area around 7pm on a weekday. The pub was clean enough and the staff friendly and the seating comfortable. It was a locals pub though with a group of mild aged men being quite loud, their right, but perhaps overly so. I was glad to move on.

A success made of typical Manchester boozer by Robert Lester. Great value food and well kept beers. Massive garden and play areas with new outside seating areas with bar service. Strange place and random chance of eating. If you manage to get food it's good. If you don't mind a wait or taking a chance on they feel like cooking then go for it. Basically they seem to say no more food when they have a a dozen or so orders even then they warn you at least 45 minutes for food..I guess under promise over perform is the management motto. If they had more and or better staff it would br fine. Try and book a table. Long wait for drinks as well after 12pm.

Been to the Dane Bank a few times recently and the food is fantastic. We had the Sunday roasts and they serve either small or large portions. Unless you have a huge appetite don't go for the large portion as it's massive, the small portion I would class as large. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the refurbishment is fantastic, so plush. This will be a regular place to eat as it's local to us.

Been today....took 35 minutes queuing up to get a couple of pints.You have known for months it was a bank holiday and days that it would be sunny.....Please don't spoil all your good work for the sake of a little overtime for a couple of extra staff...the extra sales would have more than covered it. Excellent! Party of six of us just had a fantastic meal. Friendly efficient service. Meals that were well above the standard necessary for a pub meal. Definitely heading towards being a really really good gastro pub. Will be heading there next Sunday for a lunch.

Called for tea today and it was a disgrace the bar maid was rude and very ignorant the staff stayed in kitchen all talking while six customers waited over ten minutes when a man shouted service then at 6oclock we were told it was a thirty to forty minute wait.. I've been to eat here lots and never been treated this way before think the staff working today need some training on people skills I walked out as won't be treated so bad by anyone.. They don't deserve your money very rude staff...
