Brilliant pub, real authentic foods from your homely foods like pie and chips to your more culinary foods like Prawn in Chilli and Garlic sauce served with a crusty bread to dip in and on a hot platter. Brilliant choices of foods on the menu and great specials on the board every week. Reasonably priced, friendly staff and an all round great pub! Wish there was more like this.

Great pub. Several rooms pretty much geared up for food. Tried the food a few years ago and it was good and going by the amount of happy diners it still is. Front bar area is mainly for drinkers. Three beers on handpump. Tried Workie Ticket and it was excellent.

Took a party of 14 consisting of 4 kids.. The food was absolute perfect for all ...paid double at Miller n Carter a couple nights earlier n to be fair the quality of food was on same parr as Hre n Hounds... Well done to all the staff especially the chefs are. 10/10 xx

Don't come back to England that often and look forward to a pint of real ale when I do. Lovely pint of Wainwright's Gold and lovely pub food. Lots of English pubs don't serve food anymore and if they do it is restricted to lunch time. Nice menu nice desserts and specials available ..when pubs line this go they won't come back so support them.

Nice pub and a decent pint. The food is pretty good . The staff are helpful. I'd go back again.Had the hunters chicken as we arrived late and wanted to order quickly. Ill try some other dishes next time i go.Our hole party were please with the food .I think the larger could be a bit cheaper .All round we enjoyed our night i would defiantly go back. 👍👍👍👍👍😎

Oldy worldy local pub that serves good wholesome food. We have just had the steak and ale pie and mince and onion pie, both are excellent and served with home made chips. Good range of beers and comfortable surroundings. Good sized car park with easy access, big plus.

Being a vegetarian I found very little choice on the menu for me. I mentioned this and they offered to make me quite a few different things which was great. I stayed enjoyed my lunch. Please put more veggie options on your menu though. Food was lovely and the staff were great

Lamb shank is my personal fave. Everyone is friendly, they accept card, but a bit unclear when food stops serving. I think it stops at 7.30pm even if the sign outside says it stops at 8pm
