J. M.Came across this bar after having dinner next door and it houses over 100 different rums which the staff (especially James) were very helpful and knowledgable about. If you’re into rum, a beautiful “beach” location and incredible staff make sure you come down and keep an eye out for their new menu and make sure you ask James to help you choose a drink if you’re unsure ;) Also highly recommend trying the best rum on the bar Monymusk 2010, definitely worth the price point if Rum is your drink of choice!
H. M.Came here on a bar crawl as part of a friends graduation the other day. The bartenders were really friendly, and the whole bar had a cosy atmosphere as we enjoyed well crafted cocktails. Their piña colada is especially really good.
The management was also pretty sound and was very reasonable with song requests #DojaCat
K. S.Me and my friends stumbled upon this fun tiki bar and I would definitely recommend it for a bit of fun. The tunes were unmatched, great vibes - however I think they could do with a DJ because some of the songs went on for a bit too long. There was also a particularly good looking bartender which made the whole experience even better. Good fun vibes!

This review would be a five star, if it wasn't for the overly loud blaring reggae music being played over the sound system. It's a tiki bar, it's there for chill and social. You can't social when you can't hear each other over the music :p
Won't stop me coming back, but perhaps some thought can be put into knocking the volume down a bit. Or at least get someone to lower the high end/treble so it's less painful on the ears :)
I. B.They have the most amazing rum selection. I still cannot get over the fact they also stock Don Q rum. The staff are lovely and the music is great. One of my favourite bars in Manchester.

s.Did a cocktail masterclass for a stag do. All the staff were great, but Rob, the host for the Masterclass was brilliant. Tending bar isn't easy, but he did a top class job. Well done to him and the bar, i'd highly Recommend

R.We went to the Liars Club on a Friday night. We were charged £2 entry and the beer was around £4 a pint which is reasonable for a night out in Manchester. Bar service was relatively speedy and the cocktails tasty and well presented. The music was suitably caribbean themed and there was a good vibe, with the crowd dancing long into the night.
L.Had a great night dancing away and drinking super tasty cocktails.
Staff at the bar were friendly and efficient.

B.Great little underground tiki bar with a carribean theme which plays lively rnb music for all ages. 2 cocktails 4 £10 up til 10pm and the bar staff are so welcoming and super fast at whipping up your orders. We went as a group of ladies for a 30th birthday celebration to start the night off but we never left and stayed the entire evening. A fab fun evening to be had with a great DJ mix only fault was toilets smelt rather bad but you don't spend your evening in the loo!
k. k.First and foremost you must make sure you try a Zombie. They are quite expensive (to my memory £9) but they are very tasty, alcoholic and served at a decent size. Liars is all about the atmosphere and the flame throwing bar men. (Setting fire to your drink is what they are famous for.) The music is usually reggae/motown. If you go at the weekend make sure you head down early, as the queues can be quite big and sometimes one in one out. The bar men are quite pretentious and usually put on a bit of a bravado but I think it's all part of the act, so take it with a pinch of salt!

S. M.The club is ok, has the whole Hawaiian gimmic about it but i'm not a big fan of it personally, it feels very stuffy and when it gets busy with the low ceiling it can feel quite claustrophobic. The drinks are very nice though, the treasure chest will set you back quite a bit of money but has plenty of alcohol in to last you the whole night!

R. T.The Liars Club is a tiny (and I mean tiny) little club hidden down a dark alley on Bridge Street. The drinks are okay, music is great but it does get really crowded. So be prepared to push people out of your way as you move around this venue.

M. G.Liars is a place you end up in when everyone else is kicking out. That's not to say it's an awful dive - get stuck into their various cocktails and DJs with ensure you're dancing your way to an hour waaaay past your bedtime. It can get a bit crazy down there, so if you're delicate, that's worth keeping in mind.

A. K.A little tiki bar hidden down an alley off Bridge street, has regularly served as somewhere to go when Mojo’s (next door) is full. It’s very much the same as many of the tiki bars in Manchester except in the summer they have a little outside area and sometimes put on a BBQ which is a nice addition.
