My favorite pub in all Manchester, and the perfect Venue to spend this Year's Saint George's Day!!! The Millstone has made me feel always (!) very welcome, since the very first day I stopped for a pint back in 2011. This is the England I love the most. Thank you, all.

Great bar. Went here for a stagparty and everyone was super friendly, got free drinks and met some amazing people. You could do karaoke here or have some chill drinks. It was busy but not too busy, just the right amount to have a great evening. Would recommend everyone who loves pubs to come here at least once.

Ha its like walking into through some kind of vortex. You go from an afternoon in the urban hip and cool northen quarter to Blackpool town centre 25 years ago on a sat night. Absolutely packed, everybody is baddered, karaoke rocking at 4 in the afternoon but a good friendly nothern atmosphere. Bar staff worked hard, as non stop keeping up. As long as you can grab a corner get a drink, sit back and watch the show.

Cheap, little and clean rooms on first floor of a pub which offers live music every night. However, music does not disturb and the folk offers a social entertainment always welcomed. Real British popular atmosphere and the music is high quality, either live music or karaoke. Good beer in the pub.

Brilliant on a Thursday night. Hood mix of people and karaoke. Very friendly atmosphere. Met some great people and Angela is great😁. Had one my best nights out there. Monday night is generally quiet in Manchester but you are certain of a warm and friendly welcome in the Millstone. Went in there with hubby and my two adult children for a post meal drinkie and was met with a lovely atmosphere with karaoke thrown in. Drinks are standard and staff are efficient. Absolutely spot on if you take it for what it is - cheap no frills accommodation in the heart of a lively area. Room very basic but clean and comfortable. Very noisy, but as expected at a weekend. Only call out was that there was a street light right outside our room (twin - 202) and the curtains are not blackout and pretty ripped, so would suggest to the owners that they're replaced. Other than that would recommend for a night out or for going to the Apollo etc.

This is the best cheap pub in the Northern Quarter of Manchester. Surrounded by bars that are a third as much it, it is a good place to have a few. There is nothing special about the decoration, just looks like any local pub, but it is clean and due to the size pretty cosy. Also if you're in to karaoke, it's on every night from about 7. Overall, it's not a 'trendy' bar but it's good for a decent drink after work that's not going to bankrupt you.

I don't want to like this place but you are pretty much nailed on to have a decent visit. There isn't a place in Manchester like this. DJ is different but his music takes you back through the years and in a good way. It's not the best looking pub around but overall it's the beer and the atmosphere. It's got both. This is the best kareoke pub in the West of Manchester it is well policed by well trained security staff and the bar staff are among the best in the business and no offensive behaviour is tolerated. They even give free sandwiches and side salad. Top pub.
