The Nags Head is a great dog friendly pub, the staff are friendly as are the regulars. Daisy and I love spending time here plus it's an independent craft union pub and all pints are under £5. No food is available but you can buy a packet of crisps for £1!!!

My old man has been coming here for years and I rarely enjoyed it. It used to be a classic old boozer, blokes in a vault drinking stella, chewing on pork scratchings. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it had been tarted up and a stella was only £2.80 ish. Improved the lighting, opened the space up and taken reduced prices. Recipe for success.

Went in to watch football was led to believe it had been turned into a sports bar but although tellys everywhere it had not lost its character and atmosphere John Smith bitter only £1-90 only upsetting thing was coke £2-25 as I was driving
