This is a very relaxed place to have a drink. It does get busy some evenings. We went during the day when although there was people in it wasn't crowded so was nice for a drink. In the evening it was packed but still very enjoyable. Process are reasonable plus they do real coke so that's a bonus

Went here on a first date and stayed in a room last weekend. Lovely night was a Tuesday fairly quite but the staff and DJ were amazing and made us feel welcome. Best thing is I now have a boyfriend so ya thank you 🤣 we will be back soon.

Nearly always a pleasure to go in! One of my favourite places to have a drink. Staff and customers are always friendly!! The pool table needs replacing tho. Do NOT visit on a Saturday early afternoon.. the clientele changes into really aggressive people. Not the bar’s fault of course. I recommend

Great location. Very noisy. Rooms are basic. Certain things don’t work properly (door locks to bathroom) , but it’s a place to sleep. Very clean

Saw Ginger's Sunday show and she was wonderfully funny charismatic and friendly, and the queens in the show were incredibly talented. The bar staff were wonderfully friendly too!

Not a bad pub but not a great pub. Bit expensive for drinks for this type of place. Some of the draught beer smelt awful. Much better places to drink but was meeting a few friends here before moving on. You'll find all types of odd balls in here which which makes it a bit more interesting.

Had a fabulous evening here on Friday for my friends birthday. Athena was such a great hostess and really looked after us all, friend had the best birthday. Atmosphere was really good and the drinks really reasonable prices. 10/10

Went to this place after having not been in for many years, since I was a student. The isn't too much seating in the more pub type area of the bar but we were lucky enough to get a table with 2 seats in the section with the pool table. What was quite nice was that after a while a member of staff brought us over 2 extra chairs as there was 4 of us, which was very nice. Whilst we were there a few ppl were getting thrown out so the bouncers were obviously on it for trouble makers. I did go to the gents at one point tho and there was a woman stood inside the gents doorway filming inside so I just decided to give it 5 mins then try again 😅 Also one thing that will stick out about my visit, the karaoke was one, I heard one of the worst renditions of Turn Around by Bonnie Tyler I have ever heard haha. The DJ was really good with the banter tho and I would recommend popping in for a few drinks if you're ever in the village.

Manager kindly cancelled my booking without charge; website allowed my to put my 12 year old on my booking, but no under 18s are permitted. She helped me to find a nearby alternative with availability.

Have been going here for years. Disappointed. We don't get out as much these days, now we have kids. But its tiered and the music wasn't great, staff looked bored and it wasn't very busy and to be charged for entry when it was so quiet. I know they have always charged after a certain time but thats when it used to be rammed. The village is not the same.
