Anyone who likes traditional English pubs this is a real gem.
Popped in for a beer , two hand pulls went for threakstons best bitter, I picked a winner.
Lady behind bar so so friendly. Beer prices also good .
So full of history of a by gone age.
These old.school.pubs need our support.

Amazing little place right by railway, Beer garden and lovely original Victorian interior

The first railway public house in the world, just across from Patricroft railway station. The building is listed and you'll see why when you enter this 2 century old pub - the layout is virtually unaltered since it was opened, with a cute snug and cosy bar area. It's crammed with original features and there is an outside seating area. A gem of a pub and the barman was jolly. We live in Monton and we'll definitely be back.

Absolutely loved my visit here, drove past many times, decided to walk. It was like walking into the past. Found the landlord and the locals to be very friendly. Will definitely be introducing it to other like minded friends. Limited drinks menu (no bottled beer)but that wasn't a problem..
