Decent carvery with friendly and attentive staff. Price of kids meals was slightly high at 8.50 not including drink or ice cream. Food on the carvery was really good with plenty of variety.

I went here for a carvery. There is parking for all, though limited. Entrances for all people. The staff were friendly and helpful and we we were shown to a table of choice. The carvery, you have to go to the bar,decide on plate size, pay for carvery and drinks, you are given a slip of paper for the carvery and drinks are brought to your table. Again carvery is simple. Choice of 3 meats from 4, and then it's your choice as you walk past vegetables. The food was well cooked, tasted delicious. Will go there a again

Went for a Carvery on Sunday and it was good. Choice of well cooked meats and a plethora of vegetables - Carrot & Swede, Cauliflower Cheese, Roast Parsnips. Lovely gravy, ice cold beer on tap and friendly staff. Awesome

I visit about one or twice a month for carvery, usually top notch but last 2 or 3 times the carvery seems to have gone downhill a little. Hopefully, not a long term trend. I'll be back in another week or 2, and hopefully I'll be upgrading this to 5 stars!

Visited 3 times now and tried 3 different items from the fantastic menu. Each time I've gone away with a full belly. Food is brilliant and presentation is awesome too. I can't fault the place. Ignore the bad reviews below, full of whinging people who knock off stars for trivial reasons. Get over yourselves. I'll keep coming back as the menu has so many dishes I still want to try!!

Gammon was mostly fat and quite small portions of meat even on a large carvery veg and potatoes were nice and eat as much as you like just a shame over the meat .

Pretty disappointed tonight, we went for a carvery at 5.30, unfortunately there was no Gammon but a bit of Turkey & a load of Beef. I waited for about 5 minutes to get served to be told there was only Beef left which I accepted, the guy who was in front of me had the last Turkey as well as the Beef (3 slices) for some reason I just got 2 slices (probably didn't like the look of me) going to the Veg there was a lot missing but made the most with what they had. It was very nice but we've had better here in the past. I don't know if there was something wrong (staff missing, appliances not working) but you think they would be better prepared for the tea time rush. Still I would recommend The Queens Arms & we probably will go back in time. New update 17/09/2022 We went tonight and it was very busy, luckily we'd booked for 5.30. We got our table no problem but had to wait in the queue for a while to get served for the carvery. Massive change tonight though all the meat was on & it was gorgeous, there was no carrots but mostly everything else was available, we thoroughly enjoyed it tonight. Goes to show it's always worth giving a place another chance.

Checked website before going for food and bar times said 9pm for food 11.pm for drinks at 9 30 after ok carvery and a meal missing coleslaw last orders called!! Went again for the 1st time since lock down. Had the carvery. 10.95. There wsd a choice of turkey pork gammon or beef. Obligatory offer of the yorkshire. Plenty of choice of veg sweetcorn peas green beens roast parsnips mash pots boiled pots roast pots sprouts dauphinois cauliflower cheese cabbage. Although cauliflower cheese was a bit tasteless and lacked cheese, dauphinois also lacked flavour and needed salt.

Carvery excellent. Hunter Chicken and Crispy Chicken in Jack Daniel's Sauce overloaded with BBQ sauce making it too sickly and sweet. Overall price good, nice surrounding and very popular. Lovely beer garden and good background music

The cavery hear is second to non always red hot and fresh thenstaff are lovley to granted there phone line is shocking really crackly and can be hard to make out what there saying and we live quite far away so we can't just pop in but has for the actual place its clean and really nice 😀

Use to come here regularly but moved to Newquay Cornwall 7 yrs ago, and food was ok, but frozen veg, and the gravy was like water, the chef was running about and i take it the boss was a lady, who stood and shouted food that was running low!! Wasnt a nice experience at all, so save ur money, theres lots of places to eat at locally, so spread ur wings and spend ur money where its appreciated, and treat ur staff better!!!

This is a little gem of a place to find in Audenshaw. We went for the carvery as heard so many good reviews from both friends and family and they cerrajnly didn't disappoint. Better then the usual Toby carvery, but at roughly the same price but so much better taste and selection of both meets and veg. Friendly staff and really food experience. Keep up the good work guys.

I can't recommend their food enough - my initial visits were for their famous carvery but today I tried the sweet and sour chicken. You just don't get food like this in pubs. All fresh produce and it showed in the delivery. Well done Chef!

Thought I'd made an investment and bought shares in the place. Probably one of the most expensive pint of John Smiths training beer in the area at £3.35.. 95 pence cheaper 200 yards down the road ,heard a lot of good comments about the carvery meals but have yet to try and at the prices of the beers doubt I will. Interior decor ok and well kept toilets are clean and large car park available as well as a seating area at the front, bus services stagecoach 347 from Ashton under lyne and Denton stop outside and adjacent to the pub and Guide Bridge Station is about a 10 minutes walk away.

Staff and service are not at any fault. We have been for carvery on numerous occasions and had no complaints whatsoever. Last night we went and had meals off the menu. I had steak which I asked to be cooked medium rare, my daughter and grandson had gammon. The steak was well done and very charred and the gammon under cooked. They changed my steak without any fuss but when I got my meal back the steak was practically raw so I couldn't eat it. I would not recommend the menu food but the carvery is first class.

To say there was 14 of us the food came all together and it was just perfect, the service was second to none, we will definitely be going back. Considering that the meal was eaten at the time of distancing they could have done better than bunch people sitting next to each other, at adjacent tables. Considering that there were so few people eating. The service was prompt and overall everything was acceptable.

I have just had lunch here on an outside table with my friends, and I can thoroughly recommend it. One of my friends and her partner are vegans and the lady behind the bar was extremely helpful explaining which beverages were vegan friendly. Hand sanitiser at the door, masks worn and very clean. I had the Terriyaki chicken it was lovely. And my friends really enjoyed their meals too. The young man who cleared the table was very polite and helpful also.

During the day, the carvery is lovely, staff are pleasant and no problems with service, all at a great price. Evenings are a very different matter however. The food tasted like it had been warmed up in a microwave. The staff were very loud. Laughing, joking, swearing, chasing each other around behind the food counter and making it seem like it was an inconvenience that we were there after 8pm. May return during the day, would never come in after 6/7pm

Recently renovated and very nice! A big improvement! We had 4 meals at a reasonable price which all were very good (I can recommend the New York burger). Main issue we had was the price of the drinks. We had a double gin and tonic, pint of lager and 2 cokes and it came to £18! We think the gin and tonic must've cost a fortune, so watch out for that!

I've been coming to the Queens Arms for over 12 years and it is by far the best carvery pub I have ever visited. The food if of a high standard and the service is top notch. I'd recommend this place to all of my friends and family.

Bustling and yet spacious pub. This pub has to cater to quite a large of thoroughfare, given where it is situated - on a very busy road that links Audenshaw/ Denton area to Ashton under Lyne and Dukinfield. It does this remarkably well and manages to convey a local and very friendly feel. A very good choice for a meet up with friends - lots of room and big tables, and an equally good prospect if you are having a family do or a funeral etc. It'd be good to see some finer quality coffee being served but that's just a personal preference - and this is a pub after all! Does a nice buffet and is very well set out for those who wish more privacy too. The car park can get very full, fast at busy periods, although you can park around the corner on the estate. Perhaps best to have someone drop you off at the door if you struggle with walking (before or after the visit to the bar! ;-) )

ToGoodToGo is a great idea for food waste . We just collected 3x trays of carvery which tasted very nice but the only down fall was the way it was served. There was 3 x trays but was all plonked on rather then severed as an appealing meal. My suggestion would be ToGooDToGo servings as one should come as a meal with gravy separately. If someone is collecting more then one tray it should be separated separately. i.e meat separately veggies separately and any other items separately so the meal isnt left soggy and unappealing . If this was the way it was delivered there would be a 5 star review for taste and quality. I will maybe try again on a different occasion if this was looked into for future ToGoodToGo orders . Hope to visit again.

The carvery is always lovely. The desserts are lovely too however there was one particularly unhelpful member of staff, a girl called Lauren, who seemed like she just couldn't be arsed. We came in today for Father's Day and there were 10 of us. Not a small group but I imagine the staff are used to large groups. When Lauren took our dessert order she was unhelpful, didn't listen, got our orders wrong (almost all of them), didn't even bring some of the orders and seemed as though all she was trying to do was get away from our table. When we asked about something that wasn't right, instead of offering to rectify it she just shrugged and said she didn't know. I understand everybody has bad days but you can't take it out on your customers.

Really lovely meal here on Tuesday April 2nd at 1pm.Had heard quite bad reviews re.. the heat of the whole carvery, so as someone who loves hot food was very sceptical.I am pleased to say the food was really lovely and although not piping hot was certainly acceptable.The staff were very pleasant and helpful and we came out, promising to return very soon.Although we didn't sample them, the fantastic array of Artisan Gins looked amazing.Well done Queens for bringing the Quality of Carvery back up.
