Did the Sunday funday, gin tasting, making and Sunday Dinner.... Firstly, the Sunday dinner was immense! Seriously the best I've ever had! Service was amazing, everyone was so attentive, friendly and fun. Gin tasting and making.... Jamie was our host, he was amazing, so informative, made everything easy to understand and fun..... We tasted 5 gins, made a bottle of gin by creating a recipe, measuring the ingredients and distilling our gin. You can even buy your gin again another time as the recipes and bottle numbers are saved! So much fun.... Highly recommended.

Honestly… there are no words to describe how welcoming everyone was. How GOOD the drinks are (you feel the passion and dedication in each sip. They know what they are doing, they can walk you through it, it’s an full visual/taste and learning experience). Felt like family, sat by the bar, chatted with all the staff who were so friendly and helpful. Everyone who worked the evening of 29 January 2022, was amazing! All deserve bonuses! Love love love!! I went to Three Little Words for their Sunday Roast a couple of Sundays ago and lucked out and managed to grab a walk in table around 3pm. Their Sunday lunch is £15 with a choice of two meat dishes, Beef or Pork and a vegetarian option, this particular weekend it was garlic mushrooms. A roast for £15 I thought was a very reasonable price! Especially once it arrived and the amount you got for your money…the only thing I would say was the cauliflower cheese was £5 extra…which for a third of the price of the roast itself, felt a bit steep but it was bloomin’ delicious. We ordered the beef and veggie option and the portion was a great size and nicely presented. Loads of variety of veggies and I especially enjoyed, what I believed to be, sliced up sprouts! All very well seasoned with lots of flavour in each element. The beef was cooked really well and the mushrooms were equally as delicious but I feel like there could have been more in comparison to the beef. Although we didn’t have a cocktail their cocktail menu was designed in a quirky fashion that resembled a Dulux colour chart, each cocktail broken up in categories like “floral” or “fruity” etc. I have had a cocktail here previously and definitely worth trying one or two. Overall the experience was great. The space felt busy but also intimate. The service was attentive and friendly from the lady who welcomed us to the guy who served us. A great Sunday meal that was definitely needed, would recommend to a friend.

I had the popular Sunday roast and it didn't disappoint. It was lovely and the best thing I had eaten all weekend while in Manchester. The palate cleanser at the start was a nice touch. The cocktail I had was really nice and I could actually taste the alcohol. The waiters were really helpful and attentive.

Where do I begin with this place? Let's start at the completely unique and amazing set up of this place. It's under a bridge arch and has exposed brick throughout which gives it a rustic old school vibe. But it is far from old school. Great drinks selection and live DJ which is not overwhelming in the background. Amazing vibe. Great staff....one of the top teams in Manchester in my option. Big shout to Matt one of the servers who gave us an impromptu tour of the distillery! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend!!

Lots of smiles and camaraderie - which is nice. And each being allowed to express their unquieness, well done to the owners for creating that culture The prawns 😃 👌🏻 The arancini 😍 🍘 The bhaji's! 🤤 🤤 🇮🇳 Best of all, they finished dinner with a pack of love hearts for my partner and I, which as a 90's baby, made me smile 😚 The crab cones are delicious. But in a world where our consumption is draining the planet of all it's natural resources and afghan parents are selling their children to feed their families, I question whether dishes should be created that waste food solely for aesthetics. I'm aware a little salt isn't going to remedy issues stated above, but principally we all have a responsibility to play our part. The Three Little Word's is a cool bar and home to the fantastic Manchester Gin Distillery. If you ever find yourself in Manchester the Gin Distillery is absolutely worth a visit, there are several tour options available we decided on the tasting tour presented by the excellent Sti (very funny and knowledgeable guy) really interesting and informative. After which we spent a couple of hours in the restaurant & bar, great food, fantastic service from people who genuinely care about quality of the product. There Little Word's & the Manchester Gin Distillery is a marvelous example of a team of people working hard to deliver a fantastic experience. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Love it at this very well run bar. The seating is really well laid out and comfy. The music is chilled and at the right level so you can hear each other speak. The service is fantastic, the staff are attentive and very helpful and polite. Table service is fast and accurate. Lovely range of gins and gin cocktails as you'd expect. Good mix of people. Lovely clean toilets. We were booked for 2 hours but stayed for 4 - had a great table and weren't hassled to move on.

Enjoyed the food and cocktails on Saturday. We stumbled by only by chance so hadn’t booked and the host was very accommodating, a 10 minute wait at the bar with a cocktail and we was seated. Really tasty food. Will be back, especially for the make your own gin class. A hidden gem.

very very impressed by both quality of the place and quality of the service. We went after watching a gig at the AO Arena and booked to have some drinks from 1!:15PM. We arrived there a little early, expecting them to not have our table ready. We had to stand at the side and wait, however, the bartender made sure we were OK and gave us a free Gin and Tonic whilst we waited which we thought was excellent customer service. Throughout our time there we felt very looked after and were very impressed with our drinks Would definitely return again

Where to start?! What a fantastic experience we had there. We chose to do the distillery tour which was £20. It was less of a tour and more of a talk about the history of the company and of gin with a viewing of their hot stills. Although not what I had been expecting, it was absolutely excellent. Our host, Jamie, was knowledgable, friendly and fun. We got to try an talk about a whole host their gins. It was fantastic value for money just because of the quantity of gins you got to have regardless of the talk itself. I would recommend to anyone! We also ate afterwards, all the food was excellent, the salt and pepper chips however were absolutely unreal. Unlike any I had ever had before and enough alone, to visit the place. I have already been telling friends about them! This fantastic experience was all topped if by the staff. Every member was brilliant. Friendly, helpful and up for a laugh, they made the place what it was. All in all, a perfect evening spent there. If I could give them six stars I would. Absolutely brilliant. 👌👌

Fantastic day at the Spirit of Manchester Gin Distillery making our very own gin. Our charming host made the experience most enjoyable, very knowledgeable and entertaining. Definitely a ‘must’ for any gin lovers. Had a coffee in the Three Little Words restaurant (much needed after all that gin) but looks a lovely place. We will definitely be revisiting for food in the future.

Did the Gin Tasting with Jamie. Had the best day out! Learnt a lot of fun facts, gin was lovely and we got given a good amount of it to try. Even bought a bottle take home with us! Group of 6 for late Saturday afternoon birthday drinks. There was a bit of a mix up on our booking which was done over the phone & wasn't on the a system, the taller blond hostess was a bit hesitant about letting us in & we thought we were about to be refused, but then other lovely hostess at the door (petit blond lady who was ace) jumped in & help resolve it quickly and found us a fab table. The cocktails are incredible, and the table service was really quick, we had a wonderful waitress (shout out to May who was a pleasure to have serve us). We stayed for over 3 hours and had a great experience in a lovely venue. Will definitely be back again.

Booked a table with a group of friends. Service was spot on especially from the young lad who served us the majority of the time. Food and drinks all very tasty and good value. All in all a nice vibe. The only criticism I have is the step on the card machine for a tip when you have already charged a service fee. A bit cheeky that.

Very nice bar with a great cocktail and gin collection. Atmosphere was great for a Sunday night which was fantastic as it was my girlfriends birthday. As it was Christmas the staff came around the tables and gave everyone a Christmas cracker each which was a nice touch. If we visit Manchester again we will definitely be visiting again.

Went here after out distillery tour today and it's exceptional, the service, food and cocktails are all sublime. We've already recommended to family and friends to come here when in Manchester as we loved it that much! Our server was brilliant (unfortunately I didn't catch his name) and he recommended the sticky toffee pudding that my partner really enjoyed (he practically inhaled it :D) and a few different cocktails that were delicious (caught in the rain and bonnie & Clyde). I can't sing their praises enough, we had a wonderful evening and will definitely have to return!!

Visiting from out of town, we pretty much stumbled across this absolutely amazing bar/restaurant, and quite honestly were blown away. Firstly the staff were so attentive, they pre-empts your every need with immaculate timing leaving you never having to try and catch someone's eye or needing to leave your seat to ask for something. We felt extremely well looked after and I sincerely hope their employers know just how perfectly the staff worked together to deliver a fantastic atmosphere. Secondly, and equally as impressive were the drinks, we had six cocktails, three each and were really really impressed. The guys knowledge who took our order was amazing, he truly cared about the product and the drinks themselves were fresh, fragrant and made/served with passion and pride. Everything about our short visit was absolutely stunning. The venue, the decor, the product and most impressively the people. We already look forward to coming back with friends and doing the gin class and eating in your restaurant. A special thanks for also showing us the distillery area and a little 5 min tour which was interesting.

Great cocktail bar and restaurant with Gin Distillery and tasting room. The space is very beautiful and has a cool hip vibe, live DJ on the Saturday night we visited. Cocktails were great and inventive, and our dinner was delicious. Only reason for not having a 5 was staff seemed a bit inattentive, brining second round of drink to our small bar table and not clearing the first round of glasses. For dinner I had asked to reserve a special table for my wife’s birthday but they just sat us at the first free table. Maybe an off night night for the staff but otherwise the product was a 5.

Really cool vibe, great choice of music (first place in the UK to hear a Steely Dan in the mix) with an amazing selection of cocktails. Love the way the menu was organised, from the mellowest to the most intoxicating concoctions. A truly magnificent place and an upcoming Manchester institution. Definitely planning on coming back, and more often too!

And lighting is just perfect for a place like that. Drinks are varied and inventive. The fact that the gin is made by them and has a strength heatmap is a great idea. Wow! What a stunning place, I've been to bars and restaurants all over the world, Madrid, Tokyo, New York to name a few! And this place would easily slot alongside into those big cities but this is Manchester and we do things differently here. The Steak is my particular favourite alongside the Pork Belly, and it's a crime to not have one of their signature cocktails, my choice would be the Apple & Thyme (delicious). A place to wine and dine your partner, dates or just spend a relaxing evening in the beautiful (Hexagon) Arches. You won't be disappointed. Oh did I also mention you can make your bottle of gin!!! I have rarely had a nicer drinking experience. The gin and tonics here - unsurprisingly as it's run by the Manchester Gin people - are top notch. A particular favourite was the Wild Spirit with Blackberry and Thyme, served with a rosemary and black olive tonic. Superb.

most unreal experience! went for a sunday roast with my girls, put in a request for a table where we could take some photos so they put us on the best table they had! the food was incredible, beef was pink, yorkshire puddings were delicious and they gave us extra gravy too! Cauli Cheese was also incredible, service was super fast, very attentive and lovely staff. Also had a taster of the gin made next door which was a great experience although it had a strange flavour (made with oyster shells!). will be returning 10/10!!

My partner and I came over from leeds for 3 days, we’ve never been to Manchester and we came here the first night and was one of the most friendly and welcoming bars we’ve ever been visited, we also returned the second night and plan to go again tonight we have enjoyed it so much! All the staff that served us we’re so polite and friendly, my partner left his camera and they immediately emailed us and told us they’d kept it in a safe place for us to collect the following day. The cocktails are absolutely to die for and so are the gins. They also have a variety of different foods, we tried the salt and pepper chips and they were the best we’ve ever had. Spent a lovely afternoon on the Gin tasting tour which was led by the lovely Graham and an overall great experience. This was then followed by a late lunch in the restaurant where both the food and service was fabulous and where we joined by the new friends we made on the tour. Amazing venue which manages to balance small and personal boutique style and charm with the service and drinks variety of a larger chain. Our server Edward was incredible and really made an already amazing night better, we visited bars before and after this but this was absolutely the highlight. Thank you!

Brilliant little bar! loads of different gin and other spirits, and a really nice atmosphere 👌

It's a nice vibrant place with friendly stuff. I was disappointed by my main course which was a risotto, it was dry and definitely not up to restaurant standards. Another observation is that music was nice and I wouldn't have minded if I was going there for the cocktail bar, but it was a bit too loud for dinner. Most people had to be shouting over it to be heard.

Amazing drinks, amazing food, amazing people. The food menu was probably the nicest surprise, with the steak, lamb fry and duck being particularly tasty. And of course there's an incredible drinks selection featuring all the varieties of Manchester Gin and lots of other classic cocktails to choose from.

Great food, drinks and service! Our server Chynna was on the ball, knowledgeable and attentive. The drinks arrived quickly (and we had a few!) including a few recommendations off the cocktail menu from Jake there which were absolutely spot on. The drinks menu is really well described and includes the taste notes and size of glass so you know exactly what to expect. The food was amazing, perfect portion sizes and innovative combinations, my personal favourite was the pork belly, fantastic work from the chef's there. The standout thing for me was the product knowledge from the severs there, importantly across the food AND the drinks menu which made the whole experience from start to finish was outstanding. Highly recommended.

We attended the soft launch of this new and exclusive Cocktail Bar near Great Northern. To say that the food was exceptional would be an understatement. I had chicken lollipops for starters followed by the pork belly. For drinks you have to try the "Swipe Right". A must try in terms of places to visit, be it for the food or just to try the amazing selection of cocktails.

An Amazing setting for food and drinks under the arches. I would highly recommend the pork belly if dining and all the cocktails were delicious I couldn't pick a favourite. We will definitely be back soon and cant wait to try the Gin making experience next time too.

I love the success story of Manchester Gin and it is great to see they've not only opened their own place but one right in the heart of our city and in former empty arches. We were lucky to have signed up to one of if not the first guided distillery tour and tasting with Seb and to listen to their story with a real passion was a lovely treat. The gins are terrific (my favourite is Signature) and it was fantastic to spend time at the bar for a couple of hours. Opulence in an industrial setting, terrific people, a great Manchester success story - what's not to love? Thanks again and I wish you all the success you deserve!

This place is amazing. I was in Gin Heaven, all the small details and the effort that has gone into making the venue so special, are clear to see, from the cocktail names and catergories, down to the coat hooks on the back of the toilet door!! :-) The décor is fantastic, warm and welcoming and the food was amazing. Staff were attentive and informative and seemed to share our excitement for this new, fab venue.

Absolutely Brilliant We attended the soft launch on Thursday 12th September. First thing that blows you away is the venue - it’s easy to see the amount of thought that has gone into the design - the tasteful furnishings & ambient lighting certainly creates the required atmosphere. Door hosts greeted us very quickly & we were shown to our table - you might think that the tables are really close together however my initial thoughts were soon dispersed - actually loved the way the restaurant flowed. Robyn was our server - I raved about her on the night. She is attentive but not intrusive - felt extremely well looked after - a real asset to the site. Finally the food - unbelievable!!!!! Scallop ceviche & beef starters - incredible, then Dover sole & ribeye steak for mains. The food is epic - locally sourced with a historic twist - by this I mean it was reminiscent of 10 years ago eating in Manchester. Top quality food cooked & serve in the most fantastic way - delightful. The team have outdone themselves with this one - can’t wait to return again & again. Bloody loved it Matt & James
