R. C.Decent pub with beer garden. Only went twice so far in two years.
S. B.Upon entering the bar area it felt a bit like a locals pub, but don’t let that put you off. The staff are really friendly and, on a nice day, the back garden is a delight. The outside space is massive, with open and undercover sections complete with large tables for groups. While the inside is clearly geared to the live music nights advertised, the outdoor space is a relaxing oasis. The toilets are really smart and clean and they’re accessible without going via the bar, if you’re outside.
Overall it’s a lovely spot in the village and would certainly be my preferred spot given the reasonable prices!

D. S.Great service from all the friendly staff, good selection of well kept ale, ignore some of the old negative feedback, the new landlady has got it back on track as the pub was a few years ago , great night was had by one and all in our party last night
r. h.I went for the Friday night live band music. Usually very good local bands -and it was again tonight. Not so crowded as usual and easier to move around, get a fine pint and enjoy the evening from 2100. Food is also available in the other side of the pub and from the menu it looks pretty good and at reasonable prices.
