If your looking for a great takeaway Sunday lunch this place is one to try. Fantastic friendly service from all there. Food really well packed and presented & of course most importantly it tastes fantastic, a real home cooked new year's dinner only cooked by them. If you want to get behind a small family owned pub book yourself a tasty takeaway in 2022

Excellent pub! Had a very tasty roast dinner sitting in the garden with a fabulous view of the countryside. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting great food with good value. All very covid safe too.

Eccentric True English Pub with all the twimmings. I had loads of fun and staff are very good.

Didn't have any food or Guinness when we went, and I was in desperate need of both! However, friendly and welcoming guy behind bar when we went (Sunday mid-September) and loads of outdoor seating to the rear of the pub. Felt Covid safe. :-)

Great place for some chilled out birthday drinks, food was really tasty and even though there was a small waiting time, the guys were up front and honest. The landlord even got the whole garden to sing happy birthday, lovely!

Very friendly and accommodating. We turned up without booking and they managed to find us a table in the bar where we could eat with our dogs. The food was nice, if a little pricey but not too bad. Staff were extremely friendly, which is great as I think a previous landlord had a bit of a grumpy reputation. None of that now! Looking forward to going back.

We are locals and this is a real local. The garden and views are the best in the summer and when it is cold the real fire creates a lovely cosy atmosphere. The food is good and we have had the best fillet steaks ever. The real ale is a real draw and there is a huge selection of gins. The jukebox is great as you can create your own atmosphere. This is the best pub in MK and surrounding areas.

When we walked in their was a very warm welcome from the bar man, He invited us to have a drink whilst we waited for our lunch table in the restaurant to be ready, He found us a nice big round table very quickly, He brought us the starters&main course menu boards soon after we were seated, The Starters were exceptional especially the garlic mushrooms, the bubble&squeak with 2 rings of black pudding&bacon with hollandaise sauce, Being sunday we had Beef with yorkshire,carrots,green&red cabbage, we added cauliflower cheese which was absolutely excellent, my fiancee had roast chicken with all the trimmings which she loved every bit, we then had a delicous apple&strawberry crumble with a lovely thick yellow custard, the apple tasted like bramley with a delicous flavour&texture, my lady had the peach&raspberry bread&butter pudding which they served with a nice yellow vanilla ice cream because my girl doesn't like custard. This pub is a must to pay a visit if you want to have an excellent time with top food&drink!

Relaxed atmosphere and friendly efficient staff. Real fire is lovely, local brewery beers available and can take dog in if you want to. Not tried food but sure we will.

Nice little pub. We sat out in the garden that looks out over the fields at the back. The beer was good and we had a fairly reasonable Sunday lunch. If anything, it just wasn't very busy.

Our favourite MK pub. Very friendly staff, good selection of beers, plenty of parking, nice garden (with views over the fields to MK). The food menus look really good - a tad on the expensive side - but quality costs. Some accomodation also offered.
