Went on Friday night 8/7/22 and what a transformation. Friendly atmosphere as soon as you enter the pub. Staff are fantastic and really attentive. The manager Adele and her partner Ryan are superb hosts and the food was delightful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and definitely will return. Congratulations.

What can I say about Ship Ashore. The first time we visited it was an absolute disaster and it was a special occasion. They didn't have the meals or ales we wanted. Half of one of the meals we did have was missing. There was no toilet paper in the toilets and the staff moral was very low. We did complain and got invited back by the new landlady Adele and landlord Ryan. The experience was absolutely fabulous 🤩🤩 completely different from the first time. The ambiance was so friendly as you walked in, the staff were happy in there jobs and very attentive. The food was delicious. Adele and Ryan had only been there for a couple of weeks but what a difference they had already made to the pub. They are a credit to their profession.

We went in for lunch today and the food was amazing both our meals were perfectly cooked. I ordered surf and turf but no prawns came out to start with but when we mentioned this they were cooked straight away and out in a few minutes. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

Everything was great apart from we ordered from the app and no drinks came, so after a long wait, called waitress over. Apparently, there is a problem with the process of the drinks not coming with the order. Apart from this, food was great and kids enjoyed theirs too.

Lovely pub great service, no food currently needs a sign outside saying this unless I missed it. Been twice in last 3 weeks both times kitchen was closed. Generally a lovely place to eat and drink.

Poor service. Pub wasn't very busy. Ordered 3 lunches. All wrong. 2 katsu chicken burgers turned up just plain. No sauce. Cow and chicken burger no bacon or onion rings. Ended up having to eat meals at separate times as had to recook one dish and alter 2. Not offered any compensation. Wouldn't rush back. Basic customer service skills lacking. Poor training of staff.

The toilet facilities were out of order when I visited and they seem to have been having problems for quite a while cause they were out of order the last time I visited. The pub is in desperate need of a refurb inside and out as it’s looking a little dated and run down. You wouldn’t believe this is a step up in quality (M&B pub) from the giffard pub down the road that is looking great. The only thing I come for now are the staff, great banter and very professional. Tia the landlady is doing such a great job with so little, well done her and all her staff.

Had a fabulous party this afternoon for our 25th wedding anniversary. Adele and the team couldn't do enough for us in a difficult situation they found themselves in. Highly recommend this venue for a party. Thanks guys we will be back
