Friendly staff welcoming environment and pleasant decor. Good for eating a meal with friends family or as a date. Food was hot and delicious, chips a bit too salty but all arrived promptly and staff were very attentive. Wide selection of …

Lovely lovely place this is! The decor, location & atmosphere was great.
Plenty of parking on site and outdoor seating was beautiful.
The staff were pleasant and the waiting time was not bad at all.
The food was good, portion sizes were big and it is quite affordable. I had a king prawn starter which I was hoping would be cooked but wasn't (not anyone's fault just choose the wrong meal lol) The cod fish and chips were good. Plenty of options on drinks and food menu.
Check out the pictures! 😃
I would recommend and visit again myself 👌🏼😊

Last minute booking for Sunday Lunch, first visit and we were pleasantly surprised, Luigi was a great waiter and Francis at the bar made great drinks! Good variety of veg and non-veg with massive portions! Will definitely be visiting again!

Went out for dinner for my birthday and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Each dish was flawless and tasted so amazing. I only wished I ordered the 8 lamb ribs as they were amazing! Starters came out really quickly, mains took a little longer but totally worth the wait

I went there on a Friday night. It was busy but became quieter after 7:30. We sat nearer the back of the restaurant which had a lovely evening light coming in. Staff was friendly, although when my friend arrived she was not allowed to come through even though we were already there. The hostess insisted she waited for her to come back. The food was delicious. Good menu. Great drinks menu as well. I had the pork belly Bao bun, which was lovely and fluffy. The sauce was sweet and sticky but not too sickly. I then had the seabream that was a very generous portion and delicious. The chorizo could have been a little stronger but still thoroughly enjoyed it. To finish I had a mini desert, brownie, and latte. Gooey and chocolatey. A lovely finish to the evening. The service was a little slow but think it was due to how busy they were, as we were not in a rush we did not mind.

We had a fantastic lunch here and can't wait to return. Both the bar and dining area indoors are impressive with lovely decor, they're spacious and cosy. We decided to sit outside which is equally impressive, with plenty of large tables on the patio area and more across the lawn. Staff were super friendly and the menu had a decent selection. Prices aren't cheap but the worth it for the quality of the food and portion sizes. The duck liver & port parfait starter was presented well and had the right amount of bread served with it. The crab & prawn fishcakes were incredible, with whole prawns and not an overpowering amount of potato, which I usually the case with fishcakes. The dirty cheeseburger was also large and delicious. All the presentation was wonderful, with the glasses and cutlery spotlessly clean too. Without a doubt, I'll be returning!

Fantastic service!
We turned up with no booking and only an hour to eat before a concert at The Stables (having spent hours queuing on the M25) the Wavendon Arms was amazing. Recommended by staff at the stables we arrived not expecting them not to be able to prepare us something in time, especially as they were clearly very busy. The staff were utterly accommodating, so friendly and very welcoming despite our predicament. Very quickly we were served a delicious plate of fish cakes with sides and a drink and we are very grateful to all at the Wavendon Arms for being so kind and helpful.
We would highly recommend anyone in the area to call in and we will definitely be back for a more leisurely meal in the future as the menu looked fantastic.
Thank you so much!

I went here for a team lunch today and was very impressed with the place. Lovely decor and comfortable seating. Good range of high quality options on the menu. Attentive and very competent service. We all enjoyed our food and experience very much and I found it to be a relaxing and stress-free place to take my team to. We’ll be back!

The food was good, but the service could be improved. I counted 5 different people that served our table. Some were more friendly than others. We had the Sunday roasts with bottomless gravy. When we asked for some more, twice, we still didn't get any. No one came to see if we were OK, or if we wanted more drinks. I suspect this was due to having 5 different people serve us. I felt a little underwhelmed when leaving.
