Very elegantly designed place. I like the atmosphere and the crowd. Very friendly guys at the door. Fast service at the bar as they have several bar staff. Reasonably priced.

Had a JustEat delivery from here, arrived on time, still hot and very well packaged! I got both the Panko Prawn starter which had very juicy prawns on a skewer with panko bread crumbs over it which was delicious and even more so with the dip! I also got the Duck Gyoza starter which were equally tasty and had the same dip as before, definetly recomend! For the main i had the Dirty Stack Burger which was huge, it had loads of goodies inside it as well as chips on the side a very tasty burger indeed however it was slightly over cooked as the both burgers were a bit dry, not sure if this was intentially or they were still cooking in its box from delivery, the burger filling was that juicy i didnt really mind tho 👍😁👌

Had a birthday meal here with a birthday voucher sent by email from the newsletter etc. I had the firecracker chicken mac n cheese, my husband had a steak ( I forgot to take a photo) and we shared the birdcage cocktail. We chose the whiskey, apple juice and rhubarb flavoured and it was delicious. The other two cocktail currently available for the birdcage were Vodka and watermelon based and gin and peach based I think. Before the pandemic, we used to come here on a Tuesday for the tapas Tuesday deal, which is excellent, but we decided on a go meal this time. We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable we felt despite the current covid numbers. Tables were sat away from each other and hand sanitiser was available in various places. We do continue to wear a mask when moving around though. All in all, this experience gave us the confidence to eat out and not feel Covid looming over us. We'll still probably stick to a weeknight for now as it's quieter, but thank you to the staff who made us feel comfortable back in Normal society. Service was a great as it was when we visited pre-pandemic. We will be coming back. 😁❤

Lovely inside and had Beavertown on draught which was a great bonus. Myself and my partner stopped for multiple drinks and had a great time, the service was brilliant and as a bar it feels lovely and spacious inside. The only thing stopping it being a 5 star review would be the smell inside, there was clearly a drainage problem and it did smell near the bar (this has to have been worse for the staff than us as we sat away). Would definitely go back. Ok another note, I have eaten here in the past on a work Christmas event and thoroughly enjoyed the food, but this was back at the end of 2019 (which feels like a different era pre-covid!)

First stop on a hendo weekend. It was brilliant, we had a room just for the 16 of us. The staff had everything ready for our arrival, drinks and then a lovely selection of snacks. Definitely recommend.

Called in for lunch. Welcomed warmly. All Bar One is the former Browns and has had a much improved refurbishment. Firstly, the staff are excellent and obviously enjoy working in the hospitality arena. Friendly, engaging and professional. Prior to ordering our food the staff were very attentive to any allergies we had and made particular effort to speak with the kitchen team to ensure the ingredients were accurate. The food is very good here with a menu that will suit all tastes. Chicken Katsu was lovely and tasty. My wife had fish and chips. The tempura batter was light and crisp and was very good. With a pint, glass of wine and food the bill was a reasonable £34. Thank you to all the staff for making our lunch experience one in which we will return in the near future.

Nice looking bar. Don't go lacking cash, and absolutely make sure ones cash is of the card variety because it's the only way to pay here right now! Zero shrapnel allowed. There's loads of seating available and posh grub heading out to the floor looked very decent indeed. Service for me today was turbo stylé and the place went from empty to pretty full on this Friday lunchtime rather swiftly indeed.

Great place to call in for a drink. Right in the heart of Newcastle and situated on the picturesque grey Street, oozing character and history, but now buzzing with other bars, restaurants and places to meet friends. All bar one is a great example if this. Loads of cool seating areas, as large bar with a huge selection of drinks, including cocktails and spirits. We ordered a bottle of champagne and it came icey cold, in a bucket of ice with 2 clean flutes. Very friendly bar staff who greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome, as did the door staff actually which was a nice touch. This place has a cool vibe and I'd recommend you check it out if your heading into Newcastle for a night out.

Here's also another fantastic place - great interior and cozy place. Would recommend for when you want a drink in a more quiet interior with great atmosphere. Also at the heart of Newcastle, so you'll have to consider parking considerations. The are some parking locations about half a mile (if you're not planning to drink). If not, take the public transport.

Came in without a booking and seated promptly in available booth. had the full English breakfast and the waffles with cream and fruit, a latte and a very very nice berry smoothie. Staff were very attentive, with the manager checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. All around great friendly service and food. we will definately be back for breakfast again.
