Always loved this pub quirky decor and lovely staff. Finally got round to eating here on Saturday, we had the lamb burger and Mexican burger, both were outstanding and the chips were amazing. The taziki that accompanied the lamb burger was gorgeous and I think homemade. Will definitely eat here again, want to try the tapas.

My favourite pub in Gosforth. Lovely welcoming atmosphere with a cool little beer garden out the back. Best food on the high street and attentive and friendly staff!

Best pub in Newcastle tbh. Chill af atmosphere, cool af staff, chef is a burger master. Pub quiz on Tuesdays is challenging enough to be interesting but easy enough to have a chance. Also dogs.

Great place for food and drink. Food takes longer than average but that's because it is all fresh and delicious, so definitely worth the wait. It is also dog friendly for people with fur babies and brilliant music choice.

Popped in for a couple of drinks & some food. Drinks prices are in line with the rest of area as too is the food. Speaking of which, the food is great. Went for nachos to share with Cajun chicken added. For once somewhere makes their own nachos instead of opening a bag of normal over the counter ones. These are huge! Ridiculously tasty too. For mains we ordered 2 burgers, Barca burger (bacon & cheese) & Mexican (pork, salsa, cheese). Both big homemade burgers, beautifully cooked & presented, along with home made fries. Me & the Mrs are both completely stuffed & need a snooze now, happy days!

Nice bar on gosforth high Street. Attended on a Tuesday evening to participate in the quiz. Staff were friendly. We had food including dirty chips and nachos that was very good. Decor was great and atmosphere was very relaxed.

Been here a couple of Sundays for Sunday dinner and it's lovely. Nothing too flashy but good food, nice drinks, a really cozy atmosphere and the staff are lovely. There's no bother bringing the baby in either. We'll definitely be back

Best chips in Gosforth and lovely, friendly staff. Fab art lining the walls (even in the toilets!), great beers and delicious cocktails. But most importantly, chips!

Food was absolutely superb, we had chef's mood board for starter with incredible selection of meats, cheeses and olives. Between us we had seafood bouillabaisse, pheasant, saddle of lamb and sausage and mash for mains. Dessert including kahlua bread and butter pudding with creme anglais. All tasted even better than it sounds! The service was first rate, really friendly and fast. Great selection of beers and cocktails - we can recommend the Raspberry Royales. Great decor and vibe - a bit quiet when we visited but didn't affect our evening. Prices probably higher end for Newcastle but for the standard of food and being used to London prices, this was great value and top food. Thoroughly recommended.

Groovy little place with a real friendly feel. Cocktails are great especially the lemon bon bons... Always think it's a shame the piano isn't 'operational' but it still looks canny as furniture.
