We went on Saturday night on the 1st of October primarily to see my step daughter Beth Clarke singing here , on arrival we found our table which had a nice reservation note on it ( I had phoned up earlier ) , having got ourselves seated i went to the bar & enquired about food menus only to be told the kitchen was closed , so I ordered 2 drinks & went back to our table , the manageress came over to say during my phone call I should have been told about the food , she then told us she could cook us ( my wife & I) a couple of pizzas , we were taken aback at the this kind offer & accepted we sat down & enjoyed Beth's singing & after a short while our pizzas arrived , they were very well presented & the staff were very friendly & brought over cutlery & condiments & we enjoyed our fresh cooked pizzas along with our drinks , the atmosphere in the pub is very relaxed & very easy going , there are plenty of tables & seats throughout this fine establishment & 3 different ares within the pub , there is a car park at the back of this pub & will allow about 15 cars to park safely, great staff who are very friendly & pleasant & a credit to this establishment & the management, a great place to go for live music, food, entertainment & beer, this was our first time here & it won't be our last , 10/10.

We've not long been in West Moor but we love having a walk along to this pub when we get the chance on a Saturday night. Live music on every week and the place is always bouncing. Staff are very friendly and always make you feel welcome. We've had problems with table reservations a couple of times but nothing that has put us off We love it and will be back again next time we get a babysitter!

Went to this lovely little pub to watch my daughter sing tonight. What a lovely place and very friendly and accommodating staff too. The food was delicious and everyone was having a good time. Thoroughly enjoyed my evening.

Don't pass this pub Great family welcome by real working landlords that will not be happy unless there costomers leave happy. Result !! Great food , nice beer and mint cocktails !! Only popped in due to hunger. Full belly and had to get my lass to drive due to the clean ,quality beers 😇

Really nice pub, friendly staff, a slight downside is that later on on the evening we were asked go move from the outside area to the inside so the noise doesn't bother the neighbours. But still worth a visit

Excellent choice of beers and draught drinks, superb food. Best in the area at the moment. I have not had a bad meal here yet. One thing that really sets it apart is it does not just have the run of the mill drinks in here. It sells the craft beers, craft ciders etc. The staff are really friendly too. Can't fault it.

Well I hadn't been here since it was done out and renamed but it was a nice surprise. Food portions were really pleasing but I am sure everyone is different. A small wait but I had ordered a mixed grill so that was to be expected. Probably the best locally priced pub. Very loud with all the kids in there thoygh. Still 5/5! Well played Clousden Hill.

Ambience: Quiet place to spend some time. It wasn't very crowded when I visited on a week day. Food: Food quality is really great. Menu has variety and good options for vegetarians. Music: Later in the day there was live music, and it was really fun and nice. Service: it's prompt. Friendly people. Placing an order is very convenient. Cost: reasonable compared quality and quantity.

Friend had bistro rump steak not good had fat on, which should not be on a bistro rump, but did replace with different steak still very fatty. Received mince pie instead of steak pie, again was given chance to replace but had already ate half. But no mince pie on the menu? So where did that come from?

Lovely lunch time meal. The place is newly refurbished and is clean bright and welcoming. Understand that there is a designated 🐕 area inside the pub for well behaved dogs. We will definitely be back to check out the other items on the menu.

Very nice pub. Modern but warm and cosy at the same time. Food is very good Friendly staff. Dog friendly if that's your thing. My only gripe is that there are few tables and the half of he tables are fairly small making dining awkward. Other than that, would always return.

the Clousden hill is a family pub in kilingworth , we visited this pub for a Sunday lunch .the place was dog friendly which was a bonus as we had trouble finding anywhere in that area . we ordered the Sunday lunch of beef which included fresh veg ,the meal arrived within 10 minutes of ordering . I might add its already plated so not a carvery.it had three key important things for me ,proper roast potatoes ,homemade Yorkshire puddings and in my book very important proper gravy made with stock . whilst it was a good and tasty meal it could have done being a bit hotter , having said that I am sure if I asked they would have heated it for me as the staff were accommodating and friendly .it would definately be worth another visit the meal with a very nice home made apple crumble after was 10,95 and in my opinion worth it we didn't need to book as they didn't seem to get over busy , try it and see what you think . we were pleasantly surprised.

This place has been through so many phases in my lifetime, it's now adopted it's original name from well before my time but I have been through the places recent history over the last 25 years and walking in there tonight after a long time was very refreshing.
