C. A.Cosy Joes isn't a flashy bar but makes up for it in Character. The staff are all friendly and you rarely see trouble with customers.
It can get a little busy on a Friday and Saturday, however mid week is normally fine, busy enough still for a good night.
The booths offer a lot of space and the sound systems are decent.
Karaoke is avaliable 7 days a week on stage and in pods.
Drink prices during the week are cheap for the area as well.

E. N.Brilliant night,hired out a karaoke booth as part of a hen do. The man showed us how to use the machine and left us to it. Machine easy to use and all the songs were there. Microphones could of been turned up slightly but overall super night

J. R.Absolutely carnage!! Not my scene in any way, HOWEVER.......the place is always fully jam packed with punters getting stuck straight in. The beer is fine and quite well priced plus the DJ was banging out top tunes that will definitely appeal to the mad-for-it crowd. Five stars all the way for a successful party bar which must rake in billions of dollars every second it's open. Sophistication it ain't, and don't go there for a quiet chat. A quick session stop off for shooters and a beer or fancy a dance? Go there.

A.The main bar is vibrant, but a bit chaotic. However the bookable karioke rooms are great fun for groups to be able to sing your heart out, without having to be subjected to a lot of the dross some people choose to sing in the main bar. A good light-hearted night out.
K. R.Great food. Great cocktails. Slightly dubious strawberry tequila 🤣 awesome duo singing, playing piano, guitar and bongos (?). Even on a Wednesday night, great atmosphere. Oh, and lovely staff too. I'll be back for the churros 😊

M. M.Vibrant and lively bar. Mixed bag of people here. Mostly hens and stags but still good fun. Drink price ok, can be crowded on Saturday night as very popular and has the best kebab shop next door 😜
G.Staying in Westport all weekend with friends and popped in here as seems to have a good nightlife out of the bars in the town centre. Plenty of people enjoying themselves with a live DJ which was good. Shame, as a vodka drinker, I paid a hell of a lot more than I would have back home in England.
Went back the following day for lunch and the food was good. Big portions and flavoursome. Waitress very personable and seemed a little inexperienced... she wasn't sure what ciders they stocked when my friend enquired.
Other than that, pretty positive experience and would return if I was ever in Westport again!
P.The karaoke pod was incredible. Their system was really good, there are a ridiculous amount of songs on there and you can queue them up. Second hour in the pod was half price and there was also a drinks order button so you don't have to go to the bar. Highly recommended.
A. C.If you like karaoke, this is the place for you. The upstairs bar was packed full of eager singers. Smaller, bookable rooms give you and your friends a more intimate karaoke experience. You choose your songs from the touch screen and add them to the playlist. Although friendships can be tested if someone keeps pressing the 'play now' button "by mistake"! I was having so much fun, I nearly missed my Metro.
L. H.Best karaoke bar in Newcastle - very loud and very fun. Can be extremely busy, so if you don't like being cramped this isn't the place for you. The karaoke bars are bookable too - don't necessarily worry about ringing up to pre-book, they often have rooms available - obviously if you want guaranteed give them a call. Cheap drink too!

B. M.Genuinely, the best post 9pm fun pub in Newcastle. Great music downstairs, great karaoke 'Gazza-oke' upstairs. You can have your own Karaoke room but the most fun is in the main room upstairs. I might even sing you a song...

K. M.Hired a pod for the night with friends and got great service from the team and had a really good night on the karaoke. Only thing is people kept bursting into our room and interrupting our party so would be better if you could tell customers to stay out of the pods.
R.Definitely not my cup of tea. I experienced Cosy Joes on a night out with work colleagues and whilst I detested every moment there I could see how it was immensely popular with its regular clientele.
If karaoke is your thing you'll probably love it, if not, give it a wide berth.

I. L.Cosy Joe's is a cracking good time... they ha e karaoke upstairs and anyone can have a go... the bat area can get cramped and it can take 5 minutes or more to get a drink... but if your a fan of karaoke would recommend this bar.

L.1st time @Cosy Joes we had a great nite (morning 😊)we got a karaoke room, which we stayed in for hours 😲💃🎤then went in the main bar area that had a dj so 💃💃💃danced and drank more🍻eventually leaving @2.30 am 😪a great night was had by all, the only drawback was having to go to work 😪😪😪will go again when fully recovered 👍👊
R. C.I went there after being obnoxiously drunk in a Tai restaurant some time earlier and lack the synapses to really give you a proper idea of what to expect other than boooooze. Apparently I spent 2hours with 3 friends singing karaoke. This in itself means you should try it. I don't sing.....

M.Music good beers and wine good quality access and egress poor to much pushing and shoving at peak times which could lead to trouble ,numbers should be limited ,is there a maximum number for clubs and pubs ? toilets facilities satisfactory again in the event of fire or evacuation icañ see problems .
H. F.I have just spent a week solid on the lash, this by far has been the best night when visiting here, I hope the bar staff do see this kind of thing as they made the night just as much if not much more than the rest of the folk there.

t.Kareoke Thursday night, great craic. All ages welcome and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Prices not bad either. Worth a visit.

J. I.Private karaoke rooms have the best acoustics of any room I've been in. Can actually hear yourself and others sing clearly. Really fun place, with great prices and looks like they have really good package deals for larger parties to get private rooms and booze
