Love this little pub and use it on few occasions whilst up Newcastle. Whether it's for one quick pint or stay for few hours. Drinks are nice and at good price. Staff are nice and friendly. Place some great tunes. Just a shame they don't do snacks, even just toasties would do but il definitely be back. They have a brilliant beer garden out back lovely to sit out on a hot day with lovely cold pint with ice. Sits quite few people. It's right close to good bus service and local metro. Shops are close by and plenty of places to grab either quick bite to eat or pop in to a restaurant of choice. Quite a popular little pub with great tunes x

Ok, very busy (in a good way) very good prices * It would have been 4 1/2 but I couldn't do that, we sat out back as it was decent weather, the bench we were on was at quite an angle, drinks didn't feel safe to put down, so not really anything you could do, unless you want to grab a saw and trim some bench legs

Crackin jukebox, nearly all rock n roll. Cheap drink beer, with some ales on the hand pump. 'Salt of the Earth' clientele. It's a little on the rough side, and can get pretty busy, but the staff are good at their job, so you don't usually have to wait too long. During the summer the beer garden has a great atmosphere and gets the afternoon sun. A lively place, a first or last drink pub for me as its near to two bus stations and a short walk to Haymarket metro.

This is the bar where I met my husband forty one years ago. We are still married. It has not changed much in all that time. The only thing I could see that had changed is they now have a television where the dart board used to be. It has still kept its charm and is still as popular after all these years.

I was there back in April 2018 after Newcastle beat the Gunners (my first, and possibly only, Newcastle match was a win!)...it was absolute madness in there and I loved every minute of it! Great beer selection, great tunes, great Geordies!

Well what does one say about the Percy Arms !! Well on Friday its karaoke and this is a great time to be in there, however if u are early you will get a seat, but if your disabled there is no accessible toilet here you will have to muster your strength to go up a flight or two of stairs, saying this there is a smoking area out back seat a plenty, staff friendly enough but I would give 5 * if they had disabled facilities,
