Revolution is almost always a great choice. Good vegan options (especially for a place that's not even vegetarian) usually quick service on drinks. Anywhere that let's you order with an app is always a plus as well. Floors were quite sticky every time we went in though, outside of that it was great!

Went for a cocktail making class for my friend's hen party. It was absolutely amazing. Connor had us laughing all the way through, he truly is an amazing member of your team. Would definitely recommend doing the class to anyone. By far the highlight of the weekend. Thank you Connor!!

Had the bottomless brunch with 3 others. I ordered the gluten free breakfast burger, which came with chips, it was gorgeous, the others had breakfast waffles and although the portion looked quite small they found it extremely filling. Drink wise a constant bottle of prosecco on the table plus unlimited drinks we tried the disarano fizz, superb, I ended up drink this with the prosecco for the full 90mins. Well worth the £30 per head. The staff were great and the service was top notch. We had a great afternoon ☺️

Been here on a Saturday night had a great atmosphere, it was very packed but we still managed to find a seat. Fab DJ playing bangers, dancers and a great choice of drinks. Staff/ doormen where lovely, we where one of the last people to leave but didn’t throw us out right away and let us guzzle down our remaining drinks🙈💃🏽🍾.

Food is unreal so so good, the hospitality is on point very friendly had a right laugh with are waitress, they have booths which I love and the seating is really comfortable, music is relaxing and relevant, id deffinatly recommend trying this venue is be kicking urself if you did'nt, we ordered The smoke King it came accompanied with a good filled with smoke when you take the hood off it bellows with smoke, I love food theater of any kind, drinks are refreshing and unique, I'll 100% be coming back too this venue and recommending to everyone I know.

The staff were incredible when we went for brunch! The food and drinks weren’t bad at all, but when a stag do kept trying to sit at our table, were leaning on our table and just generally being rowdy around myself and my friend - the staff were always quick to intervene and move them all off of our table and away from us. At the end of our brunch time, the staff came over to apologise and even brought us a free 6 shots! It wasn’t the staffs fault at all, but it was so reassuring knowing that the female staff members were so conscious of the situation. Thanks so much!

Bottomless Brunch. Booked in for a bottomless brunch on Saturday for a friends birthday. The food and service was excellent, we had a great time and really enjoyed the food. My friend and I had the chicken and bacon waffle with maple syrup and my partner had the brunch grill. Service was speedy and drinks were flowing often. To our surprise we hardly had to flag down waiters to request drinks, impressive considering how busy the bar was. The brunch was faultless in all aspects and would absolutely recommend. A bargain at £25 per person.

I really enjoyed a night out here on the weekend. DJ was great. Fantastic sound system and lights. It's no wonder why this place is super busy. The dancers you hire to dance on the podium are really fun. Really perks the mood up. Highly recommended place to visit.

Great cocktail bar with a lively atmosphere and delicious drinks. Friday and saturday evenings are always extremely busy so expect long wait times when ordering from the bar. Its worth the wait though. It's much quiter during the week so is the perfect place to go on a date or catch up with friends. Cant wait to return after lockdown!

Matt was a brilliant host and he had a lot to deal with looking after us but he did such a great job and made our night thoroughly enjoyable. He told us it was the first class he'd done and you would not have thought it. He was really great. Food was good too. All in all a brilliant night.

One of my favourite bars in Newcastle. Stunning inside and the bar stretches the length of building (nearly) so plenty space. There always seems to be a lot of bar staff. Plenty standing space and booths (or waltzers!) Which are good for sharing with strangers 😊. I ate pizza last time i was - hit the mark. Night time - great DJ playing hot tunes. Impossible not to dance!

We visited here on Monday the food was to die for and such good quality food at great prices we were made welcome from the second we walked in the door great customer service great atmosphere! It may of been our first visit but it certainly won't be the last! We couldn't drink as we had to drive back home but can't wait to try the cocktails next time they looked lovely and so many to choose from don't know witch one to try first 😂😂 10/10 from us. So if your ever in Newcastle give it a try I can guaranty you won't be disappointed!!

Rather large building frontage, visited on Sunday lunchtime for food, refurbishment of old city centre banking buildings. Difficult to get the atmosphere right, probably better for that on a Friday night. Food good, curry very tasty, young staff members on the ball.

Fabulous bar, very busy and a fab cocktail class for my hen party. Best way to try new cocktails to see if you like them instead of wasting £7-£10 on 1 to not like it. Certain time of the day they do 2 for 1 if you have a revolution card.

Great music, lovely food and lively atmosphere. This bar is always full of fun loving, excited people. A great place to have a few cocktails in the afternoon and a dance in the evening but can be very loud and distracting if you are wanting a nice relaxing meal. For a quite meal it is best to visit during the week before 5pm or before 1pm on a weekend. We have a Revolution Card which is very much worth the investment and pays off as soon as you buy it. You can buy it at any till and immediately use it. Always buy one before you pay for drinks or food and check out their Special Offers.

Good atmosphere, but beware apparently you only get the two for one cocktails if you have a Revolution Card which is £4 on top of your drinks, this is not stipulated anywhere on the drinks menu so I'd question it with a manager! Great drinks and friendly staff. Xxx

We had the place booked out for a business event. The staff were lovely and really helpful. Gorgeous interior and a really good vibe. Reason for 4 stars and not 5: When providing food for a party, I would suggest including something for all dietary requirements - everything was carb loaded, covered in salt and really unhealthy - I couldn't eat any of it so I can't say if it was nice. Also, this might just be me, but if I have a drink voucher for a glass of house red, which is £5.60 and I want to upgrade to merlot, I expect to only pay the difference of £0.80. They wanted the drink voucher AND £3.00. Again, might just be me being pedantic. Also, the smoking area is the street in front of the bar... I would go again.

you know - not somewhere I'd really been in, but, I found a groupon deal for a cocktail and a burger and have to say - I was very impressed. extremely good value, the food was great - staff were spot on - and, y'know, I'd always had this down as more of a cocktail bar but it's multifunctional. Nice one, well smart - definitely worth a look

Love coming here for lunch when it's not rammed. Food is very good and seating super comfy. Shame there is no real ale but I do like a Peroni or Staropramen so it's not too much of a hardship. If you like a lively evening venue this is the place to be too. I do recommend getting a loyalty card if you are a regular as there are some great savings.

Just been to the revolution bar in Newcastle for a Groupon deal, cocktail and burger deal. Was greeted with friendly faces at the bar as soon as we got in. Dilmi served us personally with a lovely smile and genuine sincerity. Nothing was too much trouble for her and asked us if everything was OK, which it certainly was. Even my carnivore husband praised the burger!! It was incredibly flavourful with the breading not too crisp. The sweet potatoes that accompanied it were only OK. But my husband really liked his chicken wings and burger. Sadly, the waiter said the veg burger will be removed from the menu as it’s not popular. SHAME on you Newcastle! Anyway it’s a lovely interior with large mirrors around, cozy booths and high ceilings. Service was also very good!

Not always somewhere you'd think to go for a bite to eat, but is always good quality. One of the best looking buildings in Newcastle, and the decor compliments it rather than disguises or spoils it. Needless to say, the drinks are the main event with some decent vodka based cocktails - many served in some elaborate fashion (we had one served in a plastic bag?!) Service is always good, quick and efficient for food. Our waitress pointed out that by signing up to the Revolution Card (£4) we'd get 241 drinks and 25% off food so well worth it. Service at the bar at 9pm on a Saturday is a different experience... there's not a lot of room between the bar and tables so sharpen your elbows before you come in ;)

Went here for my friends hen do an booked a cocktail making class, it was amazing and so much fun, it's defo worth it's money. The host Vinu was amazing too! They let us take some decorations and they did the table up for us. The hen absolutely loved it and we would defo recommend this for a fun thing to do as when party or just as a girls get together. I love how incongruous this place is - the stunning interior and ornate decor happily rubs shoulders with youngsters pumping down shot after brightly coloured shot. The Palace of Versailles meets Geordie Shore. Above all that it's a hell of a lot of fun. Those wanting a big night shouldn't miss out Revolution.

This is an old bank that was converted into a bar and it has absolutely loads of character. If you're looking for a cocktail then this is the place to be. Try the Hobo Mojito. It's delicious. No sportswear or workwear is permitted and they only allow fancy dress after 8pm at the managers discretion.

I absolutely loved Revolution, I've been there twice now and its amazing, it has quite grand and fancy decor on the inside, I think the building may have been a bank in a former life, and the drinks are really top notch, an amazing range of vodka, if not a little pricey, but the classy atmosphere completely justifies it.
