Great atmosphere, a little on the small side and gets busy. Drinks are well priced and you can buy cans straight from the bar. They play music directed to a middle age crowd. Seating is available but very lumited due to size of venue.

Excellent venue with great ambience supplied by the music ie pre '70s. Safe place for singles. Staff brilliant and as a wheelchair user the main entrance didn't allow initial access to the tables , the barperson in charge (3pm 17/04) was able to open another door for us (we declined as it wasn't an issue to spoil our experience). Recommend to all who like a relaxed afternoon drink.

Started going on a friday night as the DJ played a different selection of music & played the requests we asked for but since the change of owners it's the same DJ on a Friday night as a Saturday night & the same music every week, might have to look for a new bar to go to

Sgt Peppers is a great bar on the week ends if your into 60s 70s and 80s music you will like this bar. You can get cans in this bar witch is so different from other bars. Price wise it's not the worst and not the cheapest but in saying that the bar staff are friendly you will have a great experience.

Been going off and on for years. Love it. Although we got a taxi down other Saturday night from the Denton and couldn't get in. 12.40 am big disappointment.last orders called. Looked forward to a good knees up on my 70 th. Sorry Ann. Black mark. Had to get taxi home. Newcastle a party city. Rubbish. It just needed tumbleweed in the roads. It was dead top end of city.
