Brilliant local pub with extremely competitive prices, friendly and entertaining staff with free pool and a free dart board (bring your own darts). St T's always provides classic pints on draught such as John Smiths, Carling, Madri, Guiness and Staropramen as well as supporting local Newcastle craft breweries including Two by Two and Anarchy brewery. It's a small but cosy pub where people of all ages and identities can enjoy cheap drinks with a jukebox. The Cath is an amazing representation of Newcastle and holds the spirit of the city in its historic building, it's also dog friendly and is infamous for its £2.40 pint of Sam Smiths Double Four.

Really a nice surprise! I heard recently about the refurb and good quality beers but I was really pleasantly surprised by how nice it is. The sofas were so comfortable I nearly fell asleep. Really good gin and beer selections with local ones taking pride of place. Give it a try, you will not regret it!

Such a small place that blends into the background. Despite it's size, you'll miss it if you aren't looking for it. Don't be put off by the name, no they don't check that you're Catholic before entering or anything like that - all in all, this is a small bar, that anyone can enjoy. There's a wide selection of drinks, about equal to that you'd find in a larger pub, so you'll certainly find something you like. Staff are friendly, and if you arrive closer to opening, it's very quiet and relaxing. There's also a pool table, which, as long as you're buying drinks, is free - just ask for the change from the bar. The only issue with this is I can imagine it being difficult to get a place on the table when it's more busy. Honestly the only reason I haven't given this place 5 stars is there was an issue with the music. It kept flickering on and off. And the playlist was like, 3 hours of weird 70s/80s trance disco music and it was really really weird. But, it's quite cozy, cheap drinks, and free pool! I'd definitely recommend for early afternoon drinks on a Sunday!

Incredible little boozer welcomes all ages, has a lovely pool table which is free as long as you're buying drinks l, staff are lush and friendly, prices are low and the quality is high, match is always on and plenty of seating areas

Strange set up for playing pool normally use put your name on a board or your money on the table but here u say u want to play and they give u the money to put in but how anybody knows hew is next to play a don't know never seen anything like it but the place is nice enough
