Best venue in Newcastle. Great music, friendly atmosphere and great all-round vibe. Ran by a cooperative and not just for profit. The fact it has a stage and in-house PA system is perfect for performers. Lots of seating too and a great view for the audience.

Decent sound and light set-up, especially for a pub. Close to the city centre and a short walk from Central Station (Street parking limited, but close to a big car park) Bit of a weird layout. Bar is difficult to get to at times.

Excellent and intimate music venue which is community owned. The staff are all very friendly which is lovely. We saw Nick Dixon and Hayley McKay who were both very impressive in their own ways. Definitely looking forward to going back in the near future.

The Globe is a good place to hang out if you enjoy some live music. It is run as a Jazz music venue mainly but there is also folk night. There is a little car park next to it which is ok to use in the evenings. The bar has been recently refurbished and there are a whole range of classes in Jazz, folk , blues and song writing to mention a few. Lots of live music.

Great venue to go and watch Live music. Spot on with all Covid restrictions and table service for drinks. Live streaming of all gigs if you don't want to venture out doors or sold out.

Brilliant music venue. Really enjoyed playing here with my band. Would love to go back when it's busy. Would have given more stars but I didn't get chance to sample the food or drink etc.

A very nice place, with a good selection of tap and bottled beer. After a full renovation of the downstairs main pub room, it looks actually amazing, with old records covers on the walls and everything. They host regular live music events, including some nice jazz gigs, with regular events such as the jazz jamming session called "bring it to the bridge" every Wednesday in the smaller space upstairs. It is a pity the location does not help it gather the numbers of pub goers it has the potential to have and is worth having.

I visited this venue for the Saturday night 'Noircastle' Goth night. Staff and customers alike were friendly and welcoming. Good real ale (served in real glasses) and an excellent live band, Pussycat and the Dirty Johnsons, made for a most enjoyable night.
