Wish we'd found this place sooner. Staff were really friendly and helpful; able to seat us walk-ins for a bite to eat even on match day. Tables were spaced apart nicely, better than a lot of other places I've visited. The food was AMAZING. Try the onion rings, they're sublime. Plus, value for money was good too. Thoroughly enjoyable experience, we'll be returning as soon as we can.

Standard pub. Nice staff. Food is average price and quality. Felt safe when I visited at a lunch time. Probably could do with a little bit of TLC in the toilet cubicles and a few other places, but it does the intended job and is clean enough. Would go again.

The food menu is not very extensive for gluten free, despite them marketing themselves as having an NGCI menu (the options beyond brunch were literally salads or a small plate of halloumi). Strange smell in the restaurant either that smelt like drains which was not a nice accompaniment to the food. The staff are great though and very approachable and the pub looks great!

I've been in here a handful of times in the past but only for a pint and it's a solid beer pub. Just had a recent refurb and a food menu overhaul and it's very good and very reasonably priced. Staff are very attentive and while I'm not sure if you can take dogs inside, the staff were very friendly towards our 2 pups and brought them fresh water. Outdoor seating area is also a great addition. Fully recommend.

Great pub! I visited on Sunday for the England match and staff went to great lengths to create a good atmosphere under current restrictions. All COVID procedures in place made us felt very safe in this establishment, best on the high street in my opinion! Hey there had to be an advantage, the bar has had a revamp and is very rustic industrial feel to it, they serve some great food and the drinks are always top notch a great starter bar for the high street, also a late licence makes it the choice for last orders too

It's where Sting from the Police cut his teeth as a working musician. The band room upstairs is called the Sumner Suite and has a lot of Police memorabilia on the walls. I visited for this purpose during the daytime in Sep 17 and really loved the band room, which was unlocked/open to public, and the atmosphere downstairs in the main bar was relaxed and comfortable. I will go back to this pub another day and have several pints. We were in a bit of a hurry the last time and couldn't stay long.

(Translated) Nice place but we must not have chosen the food very well, we went before 12, but the kitchen was already open. The lasagna was burnt in places and the portion was quite small, although it tasted good. The chicken was somewhat better. (Original) Local agradable pero no debimos de elegir muy bien la comida, fuimos antes de las 12, pero la cocina ya estaba abierta. La lasagna estaba quemada por algunas partes y la porción era bastante pequeña, aunque tenía buen sabor. El pollo estaba algo mejor.
