Upon arrival we were welcomed warmly by a fantastic bartender ( he was Australian I think) We choose to sit in the bar area as it had nice tables and a great vibe ( the new decor is stunning) Now for the main event we went for a burger which was perfectly cooked with an amazing bun and the chicken dish with potato fondant . Quite honestly the food is top quality and priced reasonable

Nice pub with really good staff, visited a few time recently and never a bad pint. Great selection of beers and ales. Nice traditional decor and huge out door seating area. Staff are welcoming and eager to please.

Very very friendly. Found a relatively quiet place for my wife to breastfeed, even on a busy Saturday. Wonderful staff, great atmosphere, dog friendly. It was a long time waiting for the renovation to finishz but the result is great! Well done!

It's modern, trendy, busy, full of designer wearing gym going folk, who like being noticed. It's great if that's what you want. Just not for me. It does have a decent outdoor area, albeit on a busy road.

Great large and spacious place with good food. Be aware though that food isn't served outside (if you were choosing to sit there for covid reasons) The burgers were juicy and full of flavour. the sweet onions and three Mile burger sauce are lovely. Thrice cooked chips were good too. Nice range of drinks available. Ordering can be done through a special App (w8r)but staff are attentive and will also take orders. Decor and toilets were first class. Manager here checked up on everyone and was welcoming. Recommend

Just spent 2 nights in the hotel and All the staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant. Reception bar restaurant night porter House keeping not one member was unhappy or unhelpful even catering for 11 of us when I increased the numbers at short notice food very good and excellent rooms a particular mention to Emily on reception who bent over backwards to assist with my parents (dad) who is infirm and needs assistance thank you A hotel I will definitely be staying with again and reccomending

Visited dot bagels at the three mile in for the first time. Service was very slow as I think they were overwhelmed with a lot of orders. Very friendly staff, bagels absolutely insane as usual ! Would not hesitate to return.

Greek starters to share and mozzarella sticks were bloody lovely and bigger than expected so much so we had to take our mains home.. staff went out of their way to box up our mains and make our sons pizza before pizzas had started.

The food is very nice here, enough on offer for everyone. The pizza are abit special and really good for the kids. Plenty of drinks available, lots of different beers/ales on draught and all very good, football on the tele with both Sky Sports and BT Sport I think! The team there is very friendly and approachable. I would recommend a visit!

Lovely Hotel, pleasant staff. Room was very comfortable. Sadly our first night was noisy due to our room being over the bar area. Second night was quiet. Breakfast was satisfactory but not so well stocked on arrival the next morning. Staff did accommodate us and we received our request for our breakfast. Coffee was really good. (Very important). We would stay again but request quieter room. 😊

Been coming here for over 40 years and I love the new interior and exterior. Had food a couple of weeks ago and it was exceptional. Very busy but plenty of bar staff on. Lovely, warm, cosy pub.

We had a Beautiful Christmas meal here, complimentary drink and lovely seperate room on arrival, we were taken to our table which was beautifully set and very Christmassy, food was fabulous and timing for all courses was perfect, amazing day the sfaff were so friendly and attentive and they took care of all the finer details.

Ordered the Open Steak Sourdough, nachos and wings, TO DIE FOR. Absolutely worth the prices and my mouth is on cloud nine regarding the flavour. Cannot recommend enough! Staff were lively, we were served by a lovely young lady (Demi). Think so highly of her, for a supervisor at such a young age she is smashing it. 😀. Not a bad word to say... Will definitely be back for more! Now sat enjoying my vanilla espresso martini😍🍸

The refurbishment they have done on this place is great looks fantastic but pitty the service let's it down. 45 minute wait for food. The food itself was pretty basic. The burger my friend bought looked like a burger from a burger van. Its a shame the service and food let's this place down. The different rooms are lovely and nice prices are reasonable but they just need to improve there service and food.

Has taken a while to alter now a new bigger hotel. bar is big plenty of room different areas ( toilet now downstairs) could not fault service or staff used to be our chill out pub on way back from many hospital visits so have missed it so great to see it open looks like a lot of covid seating nicely done outside David

We had a table booked here, We turned up to this pub, atmosphere was good! As we waited in the que, which we expected to and wasn’t a problem. There was 4 members of staff standing and no one said anything to us, we waited 10 minutes at the desk while they all discussed things between each other. We didn’t get any hello or welcome, they then looked at us and acknowledged we were waiting, someone said ‘ come this way’ and just as we followed, another member of staff said ‘ Hello there girls’ to a group of young ladies behind us, and chattering on. Which I we thought was quite rude considering we didn’t get a smile or a hello. Do the staff only say hello to young ladies? No one told us how to order, we were left to work it out for 10 minutes by scanning the code on the table. I appreciate it was busy but a hello and a feeling of being welcome would have gone a long way.

First time out in a pub or outside a pub for lunch. The weather was fine so that was good. Booked table and in notes mentioned one person gluten intolerant. Once at table you then need to scan an app. Once you have app you order drinks and pay. You then go on app order food and pay. Simple? Nope! The app is not easy to use. So after 10 mins ordered drinks. The only people who were helpful was the manager and one foreign waitress. Sorry did not know where she was from but she spoke English very well. One English waitress told my friend that there was no gluten free pizzas. She did not bother to check tbh. As we found out later that they do! In the end my friend got her gluten free pizza via the manager who sorted it all out. So tbh too much of a faff to go out. On the plus the pizzas werw delish Once we got them couldn't fault the food.

At first i marked this premises down at three stars but thinking back it was probably just with having my first time out for a while and struggled with the amount of people not wearing masks , door staff very polite , quick service at bar , and empty glasses removed quickly but tables were not disinfected when new people arrived from what i noticed but i could be wrong , didn't have and food so couldn't comment

Went for a small funeral gathering..and staff tried there best but there was mix ups from the start..we put in wrong area which meant we could not have food where we were sat ...drinks on line and got mixed up by staff....staff did take pen and pad orders but some of them came with ice when we ordered no ice...and some of seating damaged a customers dress (this person had book the area of which was wrong seating area)of which the manager wasn't bothered about..and laughed it off....the customer had just buried her son and snagged her dress on the seating...

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Great beer selection and good music. It was quite late when we ordered food and although they were out of katsu chicken (due to running out of the accompanying bread i think) the guy managing the bar had a word with the chef and we could soon have our katsu chicken with the bread arriving a couple of minutes later, which was fine with me so late in the evening.

Review with a warning attached: Great place for food and drink. The Scalini Restaurant is superb value for money. Will turning into a hotel spoil things? I hope not. NB: with all the building work going on the parking capacity is SEVERELY LIMITED. It is important therefore, to arrive well ahead of schedule as you may well be disappointed and need a parking Plan B. You've been warned!
