D. D.Don't bother with the website as they have an updated menu. Very nice, clean and niche place. Yes, there's an upstairs bar and the staff seem new. Hardly know anything about Japanese Culture or how to pronounce the names of the drinks.
B.We had such a good time in Tokyo bar - good drinks well priced, interesting cocktails with plenty of variety, absolutely recommended !! Menu can be folded into cute origami which is so fun. Good tunes too. Lovely and friendly service - we will be back!

Two floors of drinking with the feature being the top open air floor (old school smoking permitted). Friendly place, relaxed. Gets pretty rammed on a Saturday night. Prices fair/decent.

We were seated on seats not so great, just facing a wall, but our bartender (Gregg) looked after us well. My partner enjoys this bar a lot and even though there are restrictions, he still enjoyed himself.
P. C.Nice venue next to central station with really good electronic music. There are two bars one downstairs and another on the top floor next to the open roof terrace. The open space serves as a smoking area. The drinks are fairly priced but there's a good selection of cocktails. You can even book a coctail master class for more than 6 people. Really nice venue to start your night. It gets busy around 2330-2400. The staff is really friendly and I really like the Japanese inspired decoration on the wall.
M. Y. &. Y.The people who have taken the bar over have done a good job in doing it up. It have a nice a atmosphere. Also they plan to make some More change to the bars. There is a niece upper deck area with plenty of heater's. Good cocktail's and beers, good service.
S. N.Querky place, upstairs is more outside than in. Always busy but provides the great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend visiting here for a few on a night out. Especially on a weekend this place get a really busy and they open up the downstairs area. Upstairs is great, especially with the outdoor furniture but be warned, if you are a non smoker then you might not enjoy it as it is where all the smokers spend their time.
M. G.Really interesting bar and layout. Good music and cocktails. Open pretty late too, if memory serves. Sadly, those good cocktails make it hard for me to truly remember, but it was a great night out, so well worth a visit.
S. C. (.Great atmosphere for a few drinks later on in the night. A bit tight on space but if you find a table or a few stools you are set for an hour or two at least. Lovely staff and a wide variety of drinks. A bit pricey by Newcastle standards but still very reasonable.

S. C.One of the best bars in Newcastle. The upstairs terrace is a must, although can be very busy especially in the summer. The clientele is variable and can sometimes be too Geordie Shore, which detracts from the fact that the bar and music (usually house) are usually of good quality.
H. M.Interesting bar in the Station end of town. Camden Pale on draft is a winner and it has a great roof terrace for al fresco boozing. Attracts a younger crowd.
D. M.Marked as a gastropub, but, having been numerous times, I haven't ever sampled the food. Unless of course, the gastro is for the cocktails. Which are numerous, not cheap, but good.
Dimly lit, some might say atmospheric, interior and a good roof garden that gets very busy, particularly during the few sunny days and evenings.
For some it will be an all evening place, but for others, just a place to grab an early or late cocktail whilst trawling the rest of the city's bars.

O.Visited Tokyo because I was on freshers for uni, I'm a local lad so all my favourite places were full so took a chance on this place, with it being tucked away near Madame Koos, House of Smith etc. It was quiet, the bars staff are well trained and nice and the music was alright, it's an okay little place maybe for pres wouldnt stay there all night though
