Reviews of Twin Farms
B. K.
Excellent place to experience England, if you are visiting or local.
Great and friendly service with nice choice of beers. The black pudding appetizer was awesome and the sausage and mash was excellent.
L. R.
Good variety of food, steak burger was tasty. Chips are good.
Would prefer condiments on the table - I wasn't keen that there was a large bowl of ketchup in the fridge that got spooned into smaller bowls for customers.
Nice atmosphere

Been here years ago round 2014 and customer service was horrible and food (fish n chips) so much so we didn't go back for years mainly due to there response, had some friends come up around covid time had the takeaway Sunday dinner only option at the time plus was close by and it was lovely best we had plenty gravy etc as well.
Been a few more times for drinks always been nice and service has been friendly.
Started to go there more frequently and will give them a try on normal menu but so far 100% improvement and definitely recommend it.
T. C.
Lovely place, never visited the area before, great choices, food, drink and helpful staff. Enjoyed my visit. 😁 …
j. m.
Lovely pub, fab atmosphere and dog friendly. Lots of doggie treats on offer.
D. W.
Completely unexpected. Friendly, nice clean atmosphere, brilliant decor and use of original features.
Comfortable, spacious, nicely developed.
But the important part- food was great.
Will definitely go back.
A. Y.
Lovely menu. Perfect staff. All-round great experience. We had all the kids with us in a large family group difficult to accommodate but they found us space.
A. G.
Came here to meet some friends from long ago for a big catch up with some good food and drinks. Nice atmosphere and hasn't changed since being here a while ago. Helpful staff and cosy seating areas to lounge away on.
g.
Popped into the twin farms on Sunday to see family and a quick drink, it’s been a while since we last been here but it was lovely, the staff where great and helpful, we wanted a takeaway Sunday dinner after looking at everyone else’s and we where not disappointed, it was delightful! Even down to the way they boxed it up for you, it was faultless!
We will certainly be back to sit in or takeaway! 5*

Think it's time Twin Farms had a total refurbishment. Very dark, very old fashioned, really bad lighting. Food was good, service was good. This could be a fabulous pub, just needs a total new, modern look
m. e.
Although not having booked we were still made welcome. There was an excellent choice on the menu, and after placing our order at the bar, we barely had time to take a drink from the glass until the meals arrived and they stayed piping hot throughout the meal.
L. B.
Convivial atmosphere, good menu, very dog friendly even on a Friday night. Prices are not cheap but not expensive either, compared to other eateries in the area. Unlike other reviewers our food was delicious - good pub grub prepared by an experienced cook/chef.
C. Y.
A lovely building and nice setting. I feel that the food is overpriced for what it is, there were bits missing from meals that were listed on the menu. It's not as good as it used to be
N. F.
Nice Sunday lunch. Quite busy even at 14.30. A little expensive compared to other pubs. £7.50 for a dessert is too expensive.
D. D.
Nicest fish and chips I've had in a long time. Crumble for desert. Was nice but expensive at £7.50.
P. M.
Great food, friendly staff, convenient for Falcons Rugby club and cloesish to a metro for after the game/travelling fans
K. F.
Service wasn't that good, as the servers were lacking in some hospitality experience.
But the food was amazing! I had the lamb Sunday dinner.
C. T.
Visited for the first time in a couple of years. Nice building and grounds, long wait for food.
Starters, fishcakes (ok) and tempura squid (heavy and greasy). Another long wait for mains. Beef stottie which was cold and had a Yorkshire inside the stottie. Chilli con carne (ok but my 12 year old daughters is better)
I'd probably go back, in the summer for the beer garden but probably not for food
L. C.
Dropped by here for a quick lunch on our way to the Cowell’s garden centre. We didn’t know what to expect but the crispy duck salad and fish wrap are excellent, however the highlight is the strawberry cheese cake! We noted the impressive coffee machine and nice coffee too. Attentive and helpful staff and lovely ambience - a very positive lunch experience!
V. V.
The environment is great and I love the decor coupled with the ambiance. The service is pretty good too with all the staff being very responsive. However, and maybe it had to do with the fact I got the last lamb special for the Sunday roast, but the entree was simply not good at all. The lamb was way too over cooked and the cabbage way to Sweet. Additionally, the gentleman said it would come with all the trimmings and came with nothing but cabbage, potatoes, and one Yorkshire pudding. My girlfriend had some pretty good pork and I will say the sticky toffee pudding was pretty good as well. Maybe I might give this another shot since my girlfriend's parents live down the street.

We usually dine here when visiting relatives who live close by. A busy pub/restaurant but with a large car park. An extensive menu with dishes that are far more interesting than your usual pub grub. Well prepared and presented by friendly and helpful staff. Prices for food and drink are reasonable and acceptable for the quality and range of cuisine.
T. M.
Called in for a bit of lunch as we were in the area, the first time we have eaten here as when it first opened the menus wasn't to our taste. Very glad we chose to eat here they ha small menus but this means that they can perfect what is served. Had the hot beef stottie with fries and the seafood plater it was cooked well and greatly presented.
It has a large bar area aswell as plenty of outdoor seating.
The staff are welcome and professional. I would recommend calling in
We have just returned to twin farm for evening meal as we hadn't booked we were told that we would have to have a table in the bar area this didn't make any difference to the food quality or the service.
We will definitely returned again
P. M.
Lovely food friendly atmosphere even though we hadn't booked we were found a table immediately.
j. l.
Lovely warm welcome even though we arrived half an hour before table by service stopped.
Excellent Sunday roast (beef)
Thoroughly recommend
M. G.
Lovely place great outdoor area. Sunday lunch was great value at £19 for 3 courses
K. B.
The best fish and chips I ever had. You know the food is fresh when there is a greenhouse on site. Highly recommend!
G. N.
Good, well kept beer and very good food without being massive portions too, really enjoyed
M. B.
Lovely pub.
Beer wasn't at its best, but was given a replacement.
Good food.
A. S.
My favourite pub. Great service exceptional food, and fantastic for dog lovers! Even if the pub is rammed full you still get brilliant service. I cant fault the place
I. S.
Lunch was excellent today, staff very attentive and food lovely.

August 2022: Alot has changed here since I last visited in February 2022, my 5 star review of April 2021 has sadly had to be reduced to a 3 star. The menu has completely changed to become a gastro pub menu, prices have went sky high and the atmosphere has completely disappeared. Table service is 5 star, our waiter couldn't do enough for us and really made our visit, however bar staff were rude and unapproachable and the high prices really didn't reflect in the quality of the food. I've deleted my photos originally posted as those dishes are no longer available. Really disappointed and wouldn't be rushing back with friends and family as we have done previously.
April 2021: Really well prepared for social distancing, 12pm on a Saturday it was pretty quiet so service was fast and the food was prepared perfectly. Started to get busier at 1pm but staff still all so friendly, quick to get people seated and plenty of staff dashing about to keep up with things. Lucky for us our table was right in the sun so we were toasty and warm but wouldn't hesitate to return on s colder day and try out the teepee area
S. H.
Visited here Wednesday for some food and was impressed with how well kept the place was, sun was shining and the outdoor seating area was lovely, food was clearly made with some passion and everything was spot on. Nice bit of greenery for kids to play with a sit on wooden tractor and some wooden farm animals, would definitely return.
P. O.
Impulsive family decision to visit for dinner. Quiet. Very attentive bar staff who are obviously well-defined. Since its takeover I have eaten here on a number of occasions and have yet to have a bad meal. The kitchen staff are exceptional and as a result the food is first class.
D. A.
Absolutely Devine food !!!!! This place must surely have a Michelin star chef hiding in that hot kitchen. How on Earth is this place not a 5.0 rating pub ??????? Criminal.
G. H.
Great pub to visit, if off to watch Newcastle Falcons vs Leicester Tigers 😉
Rugby days are full of friendly local supporters and extremely welcoming.
Be advised it can get busy so give yourself plenty of time to get served and enjoy the food and drink. …
M. H.
Super friendly pub! Great atmosphere in there and the pub seems to be very well supported by the local community. The staff are all lovely & very pleasant. Prices are fair and the food is definitely above average for a pub! Cracking quiz to be had on a Monday evening. Will definitely become a regular. Thanks to all of the Twin Farm team xx
G. M.
Last minute decision to go out for dinner and a good choice to go the Twin Farms, nice friendly staff and tasty food.
T. F.
Really lovely pub, lovely dinner, couldn't fault a thing!
J. J. M.
Nice place, staff are lovely and the food was delicious. Big set back is price Vs quantity. A main meal price averages at around £14 but the portion is about as big as a starter. Presentation over portion size, is the problem.
A. Ö.
It was lovely day .hot and sun shining .we really enjoyed our fish andChip s
E. A.
Nice atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks. Will go again
J. H.
My mother and I popped in for a lunchtime coffee and ended up having a light lunch and a couple of beers instead!
The service was excellent as was the food and guest beer. We sat outside and enjoyed the lovely, well kept, clean and tidy seating area.
There were plenty of folk both indoors and outside, which indicates this pub is a place people enjoy going to. I'll happily be returning in the future.
L. B.
Superb meal and very friendly staff.
P.
Very pleasant with welcoming staff on a very busy day with international RL at nearby Kingston Park
J. P.
Like the pub, cozy & comfortable. Shame the food is only average.
P. G.
Wry friendly staff, good atmosphere in the pub also a very good selection of drinks.
S. W.
Third pub tried today for a non-booked Sunday Roast. (First had no seats 'til five o'clock, and the other was a rammed Toby Carvery, and we just weren't willing to queue or deal with the noise and the chaos).
Here, we were seated immediately, our food was served to our table super quick, and was beautifully cooked and super tasty. Staff were all brilliant. We're defo gonna become regulars. 🙂
L. F.
Nice traditional pub near to bank foot metro. Lovely outside area with plenty of seating and serves food. Well worth a visit
J. G.
Nice pub & lovely decor, staff are very friendly, however the choice of vegetarian food is very limited which puts me off going. My friends love the food as they eat meat & fish but I wasn't kean on the 1 main & the 1 special, the other option was nachos but I wanted a meal. Only sides on offer for me were chips or onion rings, so fine if I just want a snack. Such a shame cos we would definitely visit more often if there was a better selection.
l. g.
Great food at reasonable price. Staff very helpful and friendly.
E. G.
The food was amazing, servers were friendly, atmosphere is lovely
G. M.
Decent beer. Food isn't great, but OK.
T. M.
Lovely food, lovely staff, better than the other restaurants around that area, like the one up the road from them, lovely and cosy with the fire place, nice place to have a few drinks and a bite to eat, specially at night, on a quiet night with your partner and a few drinks and cosy atmosphere, and I've never seen any bother or trouble In there, staff are absolutely awesome! Very friendly and will go out there way for you 👍
S. D.
Lovely food and was quick to arrive.
d. n.
Good pub great food good range beers and wine we like it ..Recommended
G. M.
Went for a catch up with friends, was a good night with good food.
G. D.
We had sandwiches off the lunch menu. They all came with fries and a salad garnish. The only disappointing one was the chicken caeser wrap. Just a bit bland. A good atmosphere and well staffed
M. L.
Good service mostly, except once when we were ignored upon entering the venue during COVID restrictions. Three staff behind the bar and not one made eye contact or acknowledged our presence. We were the only customers present inside since it was outside dining only, but had to prompt the staff for acknowledgement while standing right in front of them. I could see they were all busy doing something but they knew we were there, and just eye contact or "I'll be right with you" is all that was required. Just a blip I hope, and we hear new owners are now operating the business so looking forward to see how that goes.
C. F.
Comfortable friendly atmosphere.delicious meal however I feel spoiled by small bowls and plastic tray plate that I felt unable to relies my food onto.
C. W.
Great takeaway Sunday lunch for mother's day great service and easy to collect
J. P.
Lovely atmosphere but very popular hence crowded, large selection of meals!!!
J. D.
The food was absolutely fabulous. The ambiance wasn't bad either, except you gotta expect that it's gonna be Baltic in a tent in April!! That said we're Geordies and we're hardy so stuck it out for 2½hours and would do it all again because no one takes away our right to see our friends and family.
C. C. (.
Queue too long. Before rugby match they need more and better staff. The food is good and the beer excellent. But please don't let us wait 20-30 minutes for a beer. We'll just walk round to the stadium.
s. c.
Had a meal there after my dad's funeral, the manager split a drink all over my sister, apologised but never knocked anything off the bill. She was soaking and her feet was in a puddle of beer. Not impressed
H. C.
We were 4 plus a dog and they have a special dining room where dogs are welcome. Excellent food, moderately priced..and very good service.
C. G.
Nice place but felt the menu was a bit limited. Did have to send my pie back as it was cold. They did replace with a full dish
J. E.
First time here, pleasantly surprised. Not too busy , food lovely there were 5of us all having something different.Everyone's looked good and was enjoyed.
V. G.
Great for a quiet few drinks after work and you can bring the dog to sit near the bar too.
C. R.
Visited for a family get together last Friday. The staff were lovely, apart than 1 woman who I found bolshy and rude. Snapoing at us when we asked for another couple of minutes...She insisted on calling everyone sweety, love, darlin' etc which most of us found very annoying and unnecessary....(I'm from the region and this wasn't just local terms....before you slate me)
Just a bit too forward and familiar.
There were 10 of us in total and everyone enjoyed their meal. From fish to fishcakes to risotto and beef stotties.....everyone was happy! The prices were reasonable too.
I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area.
R. B.
Excellent food and service!
Separate gluten free, vegan and vegetarian menus board!
I.
Went for dinner in the evening. We were seated and forgotten about. Eventually we went up to the bar to order food.
Food was okay.
Service at the bar and thereafter was good.
A. K.
Small portions, I was still hungry and I dont have a huge appetite. Taco shells hadnt been put in oven to crisp them so had to return them for this to be done. The meal was ok but I wont be rushing back.
R. M.
Excellent quality food just a little pricey. Great service by friendly staff.Willl return again .
R.
Visited for my Mum and Dad's 60th wedding anniversary ❤ lovely building and surroundings. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was excellent as well 😋 xx …
D. K.
Very nice place to eat we went for my 72nd Birthday 2 of the party had sausage and mash they said very nice best in a long time 2 had the fish and chips skinless and boneless crispy batter excellent very much worth the visit P. S it must said the soup starter very tasty...
C. S.
Really nice, traditional style pub. The food here was very nice and didn't take too long to arrive. We went on match day for the Newcastle Falcons. Even though the place jam packed the service was slick, professional and friendly. The outside seating is ample and spacious in well kept gardens.
E. G.
Lovely meal but very noisy
P. T.
We went for Sunday lunch, they have a good covid system in place . Dinner was nice my only negatives were that it was swimming in gravy and the roast potatoes were soft, some probably like these things but not for me. Service was quick friendly and efficient.
D. M.
Good pub, good atmosphere. Ideal place to get a drink before it after a falcons game. A little pricey.
R. M.
Our go to place for a quick meal out. Really quick and good service. The only thing I would complain about would be in our more recent visits we've noticed a price increase and a slight quality decrease. For example when we first started going to twin farms a scampi and chips would come with around 12-15 pieces of scampi in their own dish on the plate along with a good portion of chips but on our most recent visit the scampi was now sharing the small dish it used to have to itself with the salad and there was only around 8 pieces and they were slightly over fired, and the price had gone up by at least £1.50. Another thing I've noticed is the tartar sauce used to be lovely and tangy but now tastes a bit more like mayonnaise with a couple of capers thrown in, I actually ended up seasoning it myself to make it taste of something. Still a 4 star review because my usual dish, the fish and chips, is still great with the exception of the tartar sauce. We will definitely be back because it's so handy and we can't fault the service but we will be keeping an eye on the quality and quantity of food.
M. C.
Had a tasty meal today at Twin Farms. Bloody lovely. Steak burger, onion rings, chips and redslaw. The staff very polite.
G. K.
Always a great Sunday lunch here. Dessert menu could be a little more extensive tho and change more often. Good ales on tap. Very homely country feel, open fires and even there own herb garden outside! Plenty of free parking.
d. v.
It's a lovely place staff are very friendly but the prices for meals are a bit pricey for what you get i ordered a hot stottie sandwich which was £7-95 the stottie was small & the filling which was chicken & stuffing what filling their was inside! & a handful full of chips! It was ok but value for money No way, if you are not a big eater i would definitely recommend. The three stars are for the staff & how they cope with covid-19.
M. B.
Pub was busy but lots of staff and very attentive .Lots sitting out and staff in and out with door bang bang banging every few seconds got on our nerves !
Maybe a spring type hinge do the trick .
Meal was lovely n pud to die for .!!!
C. P.
Very nice, good food, friendly staff and lovely surroundings.
S. B.
I had the lamb kofta, it was nice enough but the flat bread was just a soggy tortilla, not very Greek
J. L.
Great fish and chips. Was always our favourite pub but this is our first visit since covid started. Definitely going again soon.
A. B.
Very friendly staff, very friendly atmosphere, perfect for a family meal or pre/post rugby match drink. Very highly recommended
J. T.
Great food and drink, first proper night out in two years. Great place to unwind, staff all very friendly and respectful of current guidelines, well worth a visit. Thank you!!
T. C.
Lovely atmosphere, but there wasn't too much on the menu for my taste. I'm not really a fish/seafood eater. The burger I had was tasty enough but wasn't a fresh home made patty which I would have expected.
S. B.
Went for Sunday lunch food as always excellent. Staff also excellent. I am gf and they made sure my needs were catered for.
A. C.
Had a great time. Good pub and friendly staff!
C. D.
A most delicious meal with attentive and polite staff, excellent table service and a cosy atmosphere...I'll definitely be returning to Twin Farms in the near future.
D. F.
Great pub. Excellent food, good service.
E. P.
Very friendly staff and good service, excellent Sunday Lunch again!
J. C.
Service on arrival was nice and friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly too. The food came in good time and was quite nice although the fruit crumble had quite unexpectedly large pieces of fruit in that were a bit awkward. Overall a good nice place to eat and have a good meet up with friends and family too.
C. B.
Nice environment, great staff. Good is good, but could do with a more regular menu change.
A. S.
Has a dog friendly room, away from the main areas, good service, good food, not the cheapest but found it value for money
P. P.
Hit and miss on whether the meals are good or not. Not our pub of choice for food but was meeting others there due to its location.
P.
Really nice atmosphere and a lovely pub. Staff are great and the food is really good. They don't do the Sunday roast anymore (whole chicken shared between family) which is a bit of a niggle. But the huge Yorkshire's make up for it.
P. M.
Was dissatisfied with the Sunday roast, the beef & Yorkshire was lovely but the vegetables were under cooked. But staff were nice & polite.
m. p.
Have always liked this pub
The black bishop ale was o.k. And at £3,30 very reasonable.
The menu looks brilliant but a little pricey. A one for special occasions. Two minutes walk from Bank Top metro station.
In all full marks. Comfortable and friendly. Recommended.
P. M.
One way system in operation inside the premises. You need to wear a face covering until seated at the table. Drinks/meals can be ordered via the SJF app or with the staff. If eating in, especially for Sunday lunch, it is advisable to book. We had the Sunday roast which was delicious.
L. E.
Nice food served here friendly staff good drinks
P. C.
Roast Pork and Black Pudding, unusual combination I thought, i was wrong, it was delicious. Food portion was just right. We were shown straight to our seats. Staff were friendly and professional. The only down side is the knives. They could do with being slightly sharper. On the whole, a very pleasant experience
J. E.
Food was really good. Was probs the best vegan lentil Bolognese I have ever had. There's something for everyone. Fish lovers meat lovers and veggie lovers. Will definitely be going back.
J. J.
Best steak I've ever had friendly staff lovely place
S. O.
Nice food, clean and tidy, friendly staff but a little overpriced for what you get. It is good food but I have had slightly better and a lot cheaper elsewhere locally. Still gets a 5 star from me though as I couldn't find fault with the food.
B. F.
Excellent place to visit, food was very good pub grub, drink fair price atmosphere great. Definitely recommend.
m. h.
One of the best gastro pubs we've been to. Great atmosphere, efficient friendly service and the food was out of this world. The last time we were there I had the flavoursome haddock and poached egg. Delicious!
J. D.
The pub was very nice and well furnished. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
S. P.
Nice and friendly pub. Some side dishes (fries and baked potatoes) were not very good, though. Nice decoration and clean and modern toilets. Lovely sticky toffee pudding.
S. W.
Great food and friendly staff
P. M.
A good atmosphere on rugby match nights and great fish and chips! Busy thought, and the pub could invest in a couple of extra pairs of hands on game nights to improve the speed of service for both food and drink.
D. L.
Best mussels I've eaten in years. Good staff. All in all a good pub like place.
C. N.
What a fabulous Sunday lunch we had here,VERY tasty, well worth a visit. We will be back.
D. C.
Nice food and friendly staff.
P. G.
Visited today and had a lovely meal service was good and staff attentive .
G. M.
Sunday lunch was excellent and the service was spot on. We'll be back soon.
C.
Beautiful food and friendly staff. Perfect
D. S.
Lovely pub, very nice food. Attentive friendly staff. Highly recommended.
D. H.
Great pub. Food is delicious and really good Aberdeen Beef Burger. Seems like the pub is really well organised regarding social distancing and the staff are really friendly and explain everything properly.
D. L.
Hi, popped in here for the first time today, food was lovely and we got to take our dog in, they have a dog designated area inside, and a big grassed area for the kids to play, food really tasty. Clean and tidy, friendly staff. Dx
J. A.
My friends and I have been going to the Monday night quiz for a number of years. Tonight the quiz master announced that there would be no complementary snacks which are usually a small bowl of skinny chips or roast potatoes, and the bonus prize in 2 rounds, instead of being a £10 voucher would be a bottle of wine. The table next to us won the first one which turned out to be alcoholic ginger beer and not wine. In the last 6 months this brewery chain has also stopped it's loyalty card as scheme. Things must really be tough for the company to withdraw these little tokens.
A. B.
Generic chain type pub.
OK beer selection more on the real ale spectrum than craft beer but a good selection, not just ruddles).
An OK gin selection.
A good mix of other drinks.
Generic pub food type menu but really well cooked with good ingredients over all.
The pub is always busy which puts me off if I'm after a meal but that's just preferance. Overall its a nice pub that serves food but it leaves something to be desired to get that 5th star.
B. T. (.
Lovely place to meet with friends for a celebratory lunch today. Have to say the staff are very helpful and friendly and the quality of the good is excellent although it is really pricey for the size of the portions, which I consider to be quite small, which was disappointing.
P. M.
Always a fun Christmas quiz!
B. G.
Food was fantastic, staff were so friendly. Cleaning was done constantly. Social distancing spot on. Signage and hand was points well worth a visit.
B. P.
Brilliant. Best food around newcastle
C. F.
Lovely pub in Bank Foot. It is within easy reach of the local Metro station and has plenty of car parking. There is a wide range of beers and ciders available and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
C. J.
Liked to call in for fish/chips after the rugby which we really enjoyed but sadly not again after this time. Price gone up and fish portion gone down and if those were triple fried chips I think someone lost count.
g. t.
Stopped for Sunday lunch. Friendly staff. Efficient service. Good was good. Only missing the 5th star as my wife's chicken came with a tiny helping of stuffing.
Will easily eat here again.
S. P.
Nice cosy place with nice staff. Good choice of ales and home cooked food. We're regulars there as though the furthest away from us, we think it's better than its sister pubs.
P. I.
Agree with the other reviews. You do not get a lot of scampi for the price. They put the bowl of peas in with the scampi to disguise the fact you get so few. The chips were overcooked and hard. Disappointed. The staff are rude as well. Not returning.
M. G.
Very cosy. Staff friendly. Called for coffee after shopping approx 2.30. Asked if they had any scones or cake. Or even a biscuit to have with our coffee. None. Don't cater for afternoon snacks.
K. H.
Food & staff outstanding once again. Jonathan, one of the bar staff was lovely. Friendly, chatty & served customers promptly.
V. E.
Really lovely food, takes a while to get your order, but if you have time to wait i found it worth it.
D. G.
Food was fabulous. Quick service and very efficient and friendly staff. Not over priced. Plenty choice and very tasty food.
A. L.
It was really nice, only popped in for a drink.
The loos however smelled, which is why the four star review
M. S.
Food was really nice. Hubby enjoyed the beer. Dog friendly area so as we have just moved to the area this is our new favourite local
J. G.
Excellent roast beef scottie with fries. Fortunately, the gravy was in a jug and not swamping the sandwich. (Why do others do that?)
r. p.
Fantastic Sunday Lunch...lovely atmosphere..great service..Loved the feel of the place...will return...well done.
M. S.
Good Food and reasonably Priced
D. J. N.
Standards of service have declined since my last visit, especially at the bar . No longer asking if I required anything else, attitude very blasé.
Disappointed is an understatement, i would expect this level at Whetherspoons, not Twin Farms.
S. T.
Probably the best Sunday lunch in Newcastle always good and staff nice - shout for Alex
A. T.
Good food pleasant surroundings reasonable prices what's not to like.
R. C.
Nice but drinks are expensive.
s. S.
Excellent food big portions very good atmosphere. I enjoyed my first visit here. Will definitely go back
A. A.
Nice place to eat and drink just moved into the area so I think I may become a regular here.
Nice atmosphere and the bar staff are friendly the WiFi is also pretty speedy.
R. J.
Amazing service, cost restaurant setting, and delicious food!! Will go back if in the area
M. B.
The selection of food is a bit short but the food tastes amazing. Friendly staff too. Good for family meals and little outings.
s. c.
The first time we went it was very nice but when we returned the food was sub par and tasteless. The drinks, staff and atmosphere are nice but if we return and the food is better it would be a great pub
T. “. G.
Very pleasant lunch. Chicken and bacon sandwich with a kind of barbeque sauce. Very nice, very tasty and the chicken was perfectly cooked. Not the cheapest but enjoyable enough.
B. W.
Brilliant Sunday Lunch. Lovely place. Great staff
F. N.
Fab food and atmosphere. Lots of seating inside and out. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and go again.
A. R. C.

K. S.
Ordered a Sunday Lunch for click and collect. It was fantastic. Even down to the containers.
Would definitely recommend.
T. H.
Visit every Friday for our fish and chips absolutely beautiful warm and friendly staff too
P. C.
The food and service is absolutely amazing! Do yourselves a favour and have a surf and turf it was the best meal I've had in a long time ...
j. c.
Very nice food, helpful polite staff
D. O.
Consistently great
We visit the twin farms a lot and it has never let us down, the menu is certainly more like a restaurant than a pub, but this only helps to keep things classy.
R. P.
Great spacing in these Covid times. The food is delicious, we had an abundance of starters instead of a main meal.
P. C.
We had fish and chips, absolutely delicious, friendly staff and a nice cold pint
S. C.
Very nice pub, good choice of ales and lagers. Food expensive but good value. Best in Summer as it has lots of space outside and a great sun trap.
J. B.
Food was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the muscles and the blond star. Great evening.
D. H.
Staff where spot on. The pub is very clean and tidy and ran well.
I just didn't like having to wear a fave mask to go to the toilet 😷🙈 …
R. M.
I had fish and chips they were lovely fresh and batter crispy and succulent staff were really friendly and covid precautions is excellent will definitely return
P. J.
Very nice pub grub, friendly staff
D. W.
Good food good service easy parking
J. M.
My wife ordered roast beef stottie with hand cut triple cooked chips. When it arrived the bought in sliced beef was in a ciabatta roll and the chips were tough as if they were off the day before and re-fried. Trying to pass off ciabatta as stottie in Newcastle just isn't on.
S. E.
Very friendly staff. Food OK for a local place needed in a rush, vegan dish was poor
V. M.
while I had the Whitby scampi which was fine, my partner had the aubergine and red pepper lasagne served with salad and garlic bread. The portion size of the lasagne was a joke, approx. 3"x2" not even a childs portion.
C. L.
Great local. Friendly staff.
G. F.
Clean, staff friendly and helpful. Meals are good with something for everyone. You don't go out hungry. You choose your table and relax. The rest is up to you.
C. L.
Totally excellent, service was top notch and the gammon, very delicious 5*
R. W.
Fish and chips best in NE3 and NE5 area usually i love them not today though fish dry batter overdone.as usual though my wife loved the lamb dinner. Put it down to one bad occasion.
L. B.
Popped in for lunch, there is a microwave available to heat baby food yourself which is perfect as many places we have been to do not provide anything and will not heat food for your, definatley will be back.
J. J.
Lovely meal , friendly staff , and thanks for allowing our Motorhome stay overnight in your carpark
S. L.
Always nice atmosphere and well mannered staff. Food excellent. Been going for years birthdays etc 👍 …
T. M.
Most excellent food restaurants standard very nice and helpful staff would recommend this place to any one fantastic
A. D.
Food was OK tad expensive for drinks though
m. K.
This is a convenient pit stop for lynch outside Newcastle just off the A1
I ordered crispy duck salad and a pasta.
The duck was more chewy, tough to eat and on the verge of being burnt than crispy
The pasta with chicken and pancetta was delicious with a creamy cheese sauce
K. S.
I love this place & visit quite often... However that is only to socialise & have a drink with friends... The food has deteriorated over the years.. I do NOT recommend Twin Farms as a place to eat
B. H.
Nice pub reasonable price drinks. Friendly staff. Didn't try the food but it looked good.
K. M.
Lovely meal and pleasant friendly staff would definitely recommend.
C.
Great food and friendly staff!
K. R.
Good food and lovely atmosphere. Great staff too.
j. a.
I Was disgusted to see a extra £3.50 for mashed potatoes, with your Sunday lunch I can only say this is unacceptable and shear greed on company's policy.
D. S.
Spot on service, nice selection of drinks. Just a little pricey but nothing different to a bar/pub in town.
D. R.
Beautiful building, friendly staff and a decent meal but slightly less choice than in previous years and it has become quite pricy.
j. f.
Good Sunday lunch. Decent portion. Bit pricey but worth it. Nice friendly staff.
J. J.
Lovely food good service
j. a.
We were there yesterday 8 April was looking forward to a beef stottie sandwich had one few months ago and it was delicious but when it came yesterday it was disgusting a soggy Yorkshire pudding and horseradish sauce in the sandwich is a no no had to send it back could not eat it will not order that again
M. T.

C. L.
Five star place all round. We went for Sunday lunch. Food excellent, pub lovely inside and a nice selection of real ales.
B. V.
The fish and chips 2 for £15 Friday...the advertising pic on Facebook, totally apertising pic and I can confirm when they arrive the meals actually look as good if not better than the pic..we've dined at the Twin Farms on more than a dozen occasions now and the food never ceases to amaze, the chef and his staff are brilliant as are the bar staff ...if you want a laid back few hours in a brilliant atmosphere go to the twin farms......PS I have no connection other than being a satisfied customer haha :-)
S. T.
Good staff friendly. Standard fare and pricing with similar menu to Shiremoor Farm. Expansive carpark with plenty of room.
T. F.
Good food if a little expensive. Spacious layout and friendly staff.

N. K.
Looks very nice outside and in the staff were good but I found it quite a bit expensive for a bar meal
S. R.
Excellent Sunday roast. Perhaps could do with a wider real ale range but no real complaints. Staff are prompt and very friendly.
A. J.
Menu offers something different from the norm, which I like. Good kids menu and provides crayons and colouring in sheets to keep them amused.
P. B.
Great pint and atmosphere!!
J. T.
Great set up for Covid, kept warm in a chilling evening in the Tipi by the fire. Food excellent
R. B.
Went at lunch time and only vegetarian option was on the lunch time sandwich menu, and that was falafal on a pita, not lunch time, or don't fancy a sandwich, then no other option. Food was good but not fantastic.
S. P.
