Love the Irish centre! It is amazingly welcoming, wonderfully educational and offering first class entertainment! The patrons are friendly and friendly. Highly recommend. Thanks Tony and indeed all the staff at Tyneside Irish Centre for giving us an authentic piece of Ireland and her customs.

I visited for a retirement do. Great venue accommodated a large number of people but still room for stage & dance floor. Very reasonable price for drinks and the chicken curry was delicious.

Been here a few times, sometimes just for a pint with friends and someone's for functions. An oasis in the madness of Newcastle Nightlife. More like a traditional club

So glad The Irish Center started hosting again those Latin dances event on Sundays. There are now 2 rooms, one for salsa/bachata, the other one for kizomba. The classes are adapted to everyone and are followed by a great social dancing. Really like this community !! You definitely can't miss it !!

Went to 2020 - St. Patrick's Dinner. Brilliant music by Tony Corcoran and his band plus special guest, Irish harpist Una who was outstanding. Fabulous food - cabbage, bacon, mash and shamrock sauce then very tasty apple pie. A great sense of community and belonging. Plenty of dancing opportunities with great 'callers.

Quite possibly the best pub/bar/club in Newcastle. I cannot recommend this place enough! If you're ever in Newcastle i highly recommend you visit :)
M. N.
2nd floor Birthday party and reunion combined. Nice venue. Not good for hot evenings. Only couple small widows can be opened to let some air in. Great time was had by all. But summer heat is an issue. Air-condition is a much needed installation. If this was installed I think they would have their books filled.
B. N.
Enjoyed a drink in here after The Great North Run friendly staff
J. M.
Top of the morning to you. Be seeing you again.

Being an Irish folkie used to singing to the folk crowds this place is great for me. Gives public a good singalong, very friendly atmosphere. We have a great night out each time we go. The Irish Centre not far from Metro+Railway station, buses also run regularly as it's in centre of town.
A. M.
Went for an evening of Irish music as part of Irish festival. It is a very pubby sort of place, lots of merriment and glass clinking and a little worn... But the music was wonderful, especially the harps... Went with friends... Would feel uncomfortable going on my own but a very friendly evening this time with a fun way of comparing as only the Irish can!!
