Visited recently and am impressed with how it's changed over the years. Good atmosphere, friendly staff we felt very welcome. Will definitely be visiting again.

I was here attending a funeral wake. The place was spotless, food all laud out beautifully and friendly greetings from staff. Another guests mentioned how lovely tge meals were also. I look forward to visiting again

Food overpriced based on portion size and other pubs in the local area. Food also overcooked and not the nicest. Shame as previously had a good meal there but won't look to return for now as want enjoy my food and go home full on leaving.

Lovely place, lovely garden, food ok, just a bit pricey for drinks, especially considering (ultimately) its a pub on an estate. If the drinks were slightly cheaper, I would go there a lot more.

Great local pub, have been here several times now. The food is good and very reasonably priced, I recommend the mac n cheese. New owners have been working hard to develop a family friendly atmosphere. Worth noting that the garden has excellent disabled access. No hotel facilities at present.

Me and my partner went to have a meal on Tuesday. It was warm and welcoming. The landlord Martyn was lovely. And the chef is called mel. And the food was excellent. We will go back. Xxx

The atmosphere, decor really nice. Staff were helpful and friendly nothing to much trouble. Sunday lunch very good too especially the beef so tender. Dessert was slightly over cooked unfortunately abit tuff but edible. Wil definitely go back and try food menu plus hoping to go to live music on 31 Jan.

Never having been there before, I didn't know quite what to expect. We were there for refreshments after a family funeral and it was the nearest 'watering hole' to the cemetery. The decor looked a little tired, but everything looked clean and tidy. The buffet was well presented and, best of all, the beer was wonderful!

Absolutely spotless.. they were really busy as they had two large groups of people all having meals yet still found time to chat.. lovely owners and the barmaid carried my mum's drink over .food was hot and tasty planning to take my family there for my birthday in January as it will suit all ages .

Had a few beers today for the 1st time in years and FP the beer was a lot better than most places the people that run it are really nice people had a good chat with them and just really enjoyed the hour we was there used 2 spend many Saturdays there years ago with top people from the gaer and was always wicked.i will definitely be go up there more often again now and the way they have furnished and changed it is top notch
