K. F.Great old style Pub with a great atmosphere, just what Newport needs. Great Banter and spacious - reasonable priced drinks and wide range of selection on offer + snacks also on offer - juke box available and only issue for me was people smoking in the doorway when there is ample room outside various TV's offering access to various sporting events

R. W.Same as above. Me and my partner went out last night. First time in years. Glad we chose this pub. We often went here on our weekends years ago. Much, much cleaner. The bar staff are very polite. New carpet and women’s toilets are really clean. Men’s toilets not so clean. Could do with being cleaned more often throughout the night due to the slobs that use it. Tables being cleaned often. Hand sanitizers on tables. A very nice atmosphere
V. H.Great friendly pub hidden down the side street by the indoor market. It's geared up for live sports with TV's and big screen. I always drink Guinness and in my opinion the best pint in the whole of Newport. The landlord and landlady are friendly and hardworking, even when busy you don't have to wait long at the bar as they can multitask and always seem to know who's next. It's a minute from Newport bus station, so ideal to pop in for a drink whilst waiting for a bus. It's my No1 pub in Newport.
