A. L.Clean and tidy, good atmosphere and great outside seating. Limited options in the ale front - shipyard and Newcastle brown in bottles but everything else good. Friendly staff and a cheap to use pool table.

S.Lovely pub overlooking the Usk river and remains of Newport Castle. The proprietors are really helpful and friendly, and there was a friendly atmosphere overall. A short walk from the city centre, its well worth a visit.

M. H.Very nice sports bar reasonable drink prices friendly atmosphere and bar staff multiple TVs so you can watch what sport you like including premiership which shows all the Guinness Pro 14 rugby.
It also does nice meals.
