Reviews of Three Bishops
R. T.Although this pub is set in a lovely village and the outside seating are is really nice to sit for a drink we feel that the food was far from top grade. To start with at 7pm on a Saturday night we got told that all chicken was off the menu which was t ideal. We went for the soft shell tacos to start and although they had flavour the CHICKEN one was so spicy that it burnt our tongues.
A full rack of ribs followed and although they had been slow cooked it felt that the quality of the meat itself was cheap.
A. D.Wow what an outstanding pub. Literally just Googled it as a stopover from Blackgang Chine to the dinosaur footsteps and I was mesmerised by the location, parking, beer garden, drinks, excellent food, kind and polite staff who were very efficient. What more could you ask from a British Pub? Highly recommended and many thanks to all the staff for their wonderful service.
k.We had a Lovely 3 course Christmas meal today in the Three Bishops finished with coffee and mince pies.
The table was nicely decorated and the staff were so friendly. We brought our 3 month old in and whilst we ate one of the staff members walked him around so we could really enjoy the food, which was really wholesome and appreciated.
Thankyou so much for the great service, a special memory with the grandparents.
O. M.Nice pub and a good range of beers, ales and spirts. I had the southern fried chicken burger and when it came out it was missing the bun the owner rectified the issue when asked for the bun which took a while. Had a dessert to finish chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream and chocolate Browne pieces and chocolate sauce which was delicious 🤤
Overall a good experience definitely come again soon

Friendly staff.
However come Sunday I would have written a negative if it was my first visit as it surly wasn't the service I previously received. The pub was no where as busy as previous nights at the time of my visit. It just seemed to have more unmotivated students working. The waitress Gabby was beyond interested in doing her job, walking round arms folded with the odd grunt from her when the she rarely had an interaction with tables.
L. S.excellent service,excellent food lovely roast beef dinner with all the trimmings followed by Eaton mess lush. phil enjoyed his homemade lasagne followed by biscoff cheesecake delicious.

Bathroom very nicely decorated and clean.
Had a full tray of drinking sachets, kettle and condiments.
Bed clean, comfortable, and nice warm room.

Had a really delicious meal in restaurant, and looking firward to breakfast.
The only thing i will say is that this is the windy side of the island.
I. R.Stayed in while spending a long weekend biking in the isle of wight. The village is so cute ! Room was nice but heater was not working .. still they gave us an electric one as soon as we asked. Would have appreciated a deeper cleaning but have to say the staff is currently on shortage of cleaning lady. We stayed for dinner and breakfast: food was really nice and generous portions. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff!! Overall a pleasant stay ;)
