We booked a Christmas party. The food was very tasty. My starter of breaded mushrooms was lovely.The main meal was very good. I was impressed with the staff. Very helpful and friendly. The price is very reasonable. The price of drinks are great! Very cozy feel to the place.Vegan and vegetarian friendly. The staff got all the star rating.

My usual haunt most weeks for Sunday lunch. At only £5.30 meal my treat for wife and grandson. Mark chef, makes fantastic meal, always a joy to behold. Nice service. Good staff. Clean pub, traditional.

For value for money the Cock is excellent. Had a roast beef dinner for £5.75. Food was nicely portioned, piping hot and served in a timely manner. The staff are friendly and polite and I will be going there again 😊

Went to a wedding reception in the function room up stairs and thought it was a good venue, it is set on two levels with the dance floor and some seating up stairs, the bar and more seating down which works well for those who would rather talk than dance. The staff where really good, beer was limited but ok. Didnt go down stairs so don't know what the put is like.

Nice, friendly pub with very good meals at reasonable prices. We used to go there for Sunday lunch when we were local. However, we moved to Scotland but still pop in for a lunch when we come down to visit. Recommended 🙂

Really take my hat of to this team! Usually a one man band cooking, serving, collecting and more! Food is always hot and tasty, sometimes a wait hut they will always tell you that before you order. A good family pub! We don't have enough of them.

Food was ok, average pub grub at reasonable prices. Place is very run down and quite dirty inside. Gents toilets could do with a good clean, cobwebs with dead spiders around toilet cistern, floor was black with grime. They can't use the excuse of a busy period as there were about 8 people in on Saturday about 1pm.

It's a great place it's casual and quite with theme night the only problem is that I don't think they have a wheelchair accessible entrance and there are lots of stairs inside.
