C. J.Just had an amazing meal here. We haven’t been for a long time. The decor is lovely, even the loos are great. Food was amazing, especially the pulled pork and mozzarella burgers. Service was brilliant, the atmosphere was chilled but lively. Will be back very soon.

Dad had roast and loved it, both of us struggled to finish our meals because they give good portion sizes.

L. M.We visited here before a T20 match so it was really busy. It was also difficult to get to the bar as there were lots of bar flies sitting there. There was also only 2 people serving, who had no clue who was next. However, once we were served we had a nice sit in the beer garden and it was a pleasant place to be!

C. T.4 of us visited on Friday lunchtime and had food and drink all of it was delicious. I haven't been here for a few years and I was very impressed as last time it wasn't very good.The menu has something for all tastes and has a range of wines and spirits and well kept real ales. Worth a visit.
M. B.I always find it surprising that this place isn't permanently rammed. I've eaten there nearly 10 times and on every occasion I could not fault the food in the slightest. The food is extremely reasonably priced and the portions more than generous.
Menu highlights include the CBE sandwich, the mushroom and halloumi burger (which is an actual patty made of mushroom, bravo for making an effort!), and their pie of the day (I've sampled both the steak and Guinness and the chicken and mushroom pie, both amazing).
I cannot recommend this place enough and cannot wait for the warmer weather to come around so full use can be made of their beer garden.
