Nice place ordered 2 drink Guess what no cash payments Card Only Didn't have a card on me Left the 2 drinks on the bar and went somewhere else . Don't quite see the logic in this leaving the drinks on the bar to get thrown away . Staff very polite said it's company policy

It's a great place to be and go on a night out. Drinks are higher in price than other places and the service is okay to that. You can get a good atmosphere in there inside and out the food upstairs is amazing really is. Overall a good place to consider when out and about

Went for a lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the choice of delicious food available. Opted for the spicy chicken salad, oh wow! A spice and taste sensation... Will definitely order again. Staff were attentive and the wait was not too long. A definite must if ever in Northampton. Simply divine.

Good measures in place for safety. Team are very helpful and table service works really well. The drinks were served promptly and the menu, although small, had a good selection. The food took a little while to arrive but understandable in these times. When it arrived it was worth the wait. My steak was cooked perfectly and the homemade onion rings were delicious. If I was going to criticise anything it would be that I would have liked a few more chips and onion rings. All in all a great night out

This is a fantastic friendly pub and considering the times we live in is very friendly and relaxed unlike some of the other pubs with petty Hitlers for landlords. Food is great. South African Sean is fantastic barman.

Great service from the staff 👏drinks we're lovely too starter's we're excellent but limited choice but we all know why mains we're a let down fish I had was dry and no flavour and the risotto was wayyyyy too salty Mrs had the duck salad it was average bit dry and lacking a dressing so hit and miss tbf And the place especially the toilets need a good clean

Good solid pub! Good food and a decent drinks selection. Staff are friendly and welcoming. £5 a pint still seems a little dear for Northampton, especially the Welly road. But I might be wrong on that front!?

Nice food, though the menu on a Sunday was very restricted and the portion sizes somewhat small for what you're paying, which was a lot in comparison to other restaurants in the area. The restaurant was laid out well but a bit of a trek up some narrow (ish) stairs. Our table also wobbled but soon cured with a folded beer mat. Would we go there again? Probably not, sorry.

Didn't have our table, When we showed we had booked they got us a table but wasn't apologetic at all just seemed quite rude. The food was nice drinks were ok just wouldn't rush back there didn't feel welcome.

The drinks are a little pricey but good selection and a really good atmosphere. It can be very busy some time so you have to be a little patient while waiting at the bar. They have music and dancing and not a bad venue to take a date. Outside area is nice with decent seating if your a smoker or not it's good to use in most weather's

Been there for a leaving party for a work mate and the place looks good, and it is great for drinks or just a meal. It was a bit tight for us as we were about 11 of us. The food was average, which let the place down, but overall, our experience was good. Friendly staff and fairly quick service.

Lovely old hotel with a mix of modern features throughout. Staff were brilliant and really made the visit. Upgraded on arrival to a fab room. Only four stars as the bathroom had a few issues.

Pleasant decor. Not the sharpest lad behind the bar. Asked for bourbon with only a splash of coke but he topped it because he was having banter with a colleague. When I pointed out that he hadn't listened, they both chuckled. I was with a friend so just drank it but £9 for a drink in which the bourbon was drowned.

Discovered this pub after a recommendation. What a refreshing venue in Northampton - walked in and felt like I was in London. Beautifully decorated, amazing cocktails (yes in a pub!) and one of the most amazing burgers I have ever tasted. Highly recommended.

Nice pub, love meeting up with friends here on a Friday or Saturday night, i knocked off 2 stars... for the amount of time it takes to get served, maybe more staff behind the bars on busy nights and ONLY 2 FEMALE TOILETS, on a busy night the ques for the ladies is unreal. I spend most of my time in old house in ques either for a drink or the loo... SORT IT OUT your nearly onto a winner x
