Having had a couple of really good meals on the 40% menu on a Tuesday we decided to have our Easter Sunday Lunch here. Not having a large appetite it was great to have a half portion for half the price. However it was really disappointing to find that the lamb shoulder I had been really looking forward to was presented in a ball of mush. Despite this I have given 5 stars because everything else was cooked to perfection and the service was great. Will definitely return but hope the beef is as good as everything else excluding the lamb.

We've been here before for a Valentine's meal (back in 2016); the food was nothing to write home about but service was good. We came again for Sunday roast in March 2022 and the food was scrumptious; very accommodating staff, catered to our toddler and in the summer, the garden has plenty of lovely seating. Very nice atmosphere.

My sons wife arranged his 40th birthday party here. Good party room. Have been to celebrations here before. Bar in the room. Staff were run of their feet but still remained friendly and professional. Very good night and I salute the staff having to clear up after us. Must have been a late night for them.

Went here for a pub lunch last Friday and everything about the place was lovely. Very nice looking place, food was amazing(we had camambert sharer and a burger each) It was reasonably priced and I would definitely go back again👍

Last minute booking, absolutely delicious food and attentive staff in a lovely building. Even better that is disabled friendly with wheelchair access and loos. See you again next time that were in the area. Overlooked gem here!

Would definitely go back for a drink but not for food. Spacious good looking bar, plenty of good decor! Limited real ale selection (nothing on pump, just bottled doombar). Staff were lovely and helpful. I ordered food and wasn’t impressed, the burger wasn’t amazing and some of my chips were a little undercooked, expected more for the price.

Just had our works Christmas party here and it was a great night. Good food and drink, very attentive staff and a well decorated pub. There were 22 of us and the lounge room was perfect. Thank you Old White Hart. Highly recommended.

Here for a work meeting, I and several colleagues are vegan, we also have vegetarians and gluten free requirements - this was the lunch I was brought on my own little platter, which was really nice and far in advance of what some other local venues offer. I even forgave the lack of plate 😁 Then in the afternoon break, they even brought out vegan biscuits and treats, which was completely unexpected and a lovely, thoughtful and tasty touch!

It's quite a tidy pub. The food was good in part. The seafood cocktail I had for a starter was nice but very little of it for the price. Mains very nice, puddings better value than starter. Drinks at pub prices helped. The lay out means the restaurant area is noisy as it is open to the bar and although all well behaved the drinkers were noisy. Staff were excellent but the could do with laying out more cutlery or bringing it with each course. However, Nothing seemed to much trouble for them. I frankly didn't like the grey drab decor or choice of pictures on the walls but otherwise I'd go again.

Not a bad pub, but there are better ones closer to town. I came here with work colleagues after an event at Delapre Park. There's a spacious beer garden and a decent amount of room inside. The beer selection is wide, but there's nothing from local craft breweries literally minutes up the road. My colleagues didn't rate the house ale especially highly! Overall - fine for locals, but you can do better elsewhere in Northampton.

We visited on a Sunday for a roast dinner. Portions were a good size + a free starter or dessert is a bonus. Food looked better than it tasted. It tasted ok but lacked the wow we have experienced elsewhere for similar money.

Booked a private dining evening for a colleague's 21st Birthday. Staff were very helpful and arranged a menu which incorporated all the birthday girl's favourite foods. The table was nicely set out. There were 14 of us but service was very good and friendly. The food was delicious and hot dishes were piping hot. One of our guests is a vegetarian and also requires a gluten free diet. This was accommodated with no fuss. I would definitely recommend The Old White Hart for any occasion.

Old Stable Cottage We booked the cottage as it was a perfect location for our long weekend visit to Silverstone racing circuit The Old Stable was perfect in all respects , very light and clean , very well furnished throughout with everything matching , a lot of thought in the simple but impressive decor, very comfortable bed, first class bathroom and perfect large shower,very good sized kitchen / lounge with table and chairs for six plus a large corner style Sofa that converts to another bed and a large tv , the fully fitted kitchen would grace any home ,outside the parking was great with security lighting and a garden area, if you did not cook the adjoining Pub / Restaurant could not be bettered, Alan and all of his staff were very friendly and could not be more helpfull This Place Is a MUST Colin and Theresa ( Devon )
