Visited here recently for brunch after hearing good things and it lived up to expectations. I chose a vegan breakfast and my husband and eldest had cooked breakfasts too and our youngest had pancakes which were so fluffy! Would definitely revisit! Lovely staff, great atmosphere and good food!

What a great venue this is! I've never been here before and it is like a little gem! Lovely pub side and a great venue for the band I saw with a fantastic sound system for music! There is a bar in the side where entertainment is held too. They serve food until 8pm so next time I go I'll have a meal then see an act. There is a car park across the road or street parking around the corner. Easy to get to as well.

Surprisingly amazingly good food. Although the lighting left a bit to be desired (far too bright), other than that, I could not fault this place in any way. Service was top notch, food was exceptionally good for the price, cocktails weren't ever going to make it into the all-time top 100, but were more than passable. Definitely worth a visit, although until the lighting is a little less harsh, possibly not somewhere to go on a first date.

When u buy a drink at the bar. Watch how they pour them. As they try & charge for a double when only putting a single in. When making a wine spritzer they put lemonade in first. Went here for their comedy night which is every 1st Thursday of the month and had the best evening! £16 a ticket and worth every penny. All staff were really polite and friendly too!

Banging place we saw jazz collosus and it was an amazing night. For all.you ladys the toilets were very clean drinks average stopped the coffee at 9 pm which for me was a bit of a bummer as i dont drink and also cold drinks but otger than that a really fun amamzing eveing.

Now at 80 I remember going to this cinema when I was 10 or so. Used to have great youth films and it was packed solid each Saturday. Shame that these places have all but gone. Remember the Plaza with Sid Sipping and another just of Kettering road near Abington square…. Any ideas of names ??

The bar and food was amazing! That night we went to see a band... but it was the pre-music that the DJ was playing and how loud it was that let it down. It would of been nice if we could hear each other so we could have a chin wag before the band started as they were 2 hours late on stage. The waitress I had here was so lovely - she was so so kind! The breakfast was excellent and so filling - the establishment itself is very well decorated and the toilet was so hygienic and modern. Always been an epic place to go but since what appears to be a management change the overall atmosphere and quality has dropped! In particular since they opened up the front they no longer open up the main cinema room in the back which is what this place is about? So very strange.

What a nice place to have Sunday lunch. A window seat overlooking the Racecourse..ok the sun was out - bonus. I know it was a once a picture house, we ate in what was the foyer, and I remember when it was more of a flea pit than cinema, but that was a long time ago. It's more continental cafe bar now. They have some vegan options. Unfortunately the mushroom Wellington was not available but the vegan burger was good - but no substitute for vegan creamy mash and a pastry dish!. They are super friendly in there and you can enjoy a free cinema experience and half price food on a Monday. 1917 movie is playing early August so you should not miss out on this!

Great venue for all kinds of events. The front room isn't the largest but the events area out the back (in an old cinema screen) is huge. Massive bar with a good range of drinks, the only downside is the price - expect to pay around £10 for 2 drinks.

Unfortunately the quantity of salt that came pre-served on the chips ruined the enjoyment, not sure if possible but would recommend requesting no salt on any chips as condiments are available on the tables.

We came in enquiring about holding a party here for our 25 th anniversary with lots of bands on..bar staff very disinterested in it to say the least so we didn't pursue it & booked elsewhere. Having said that I like the venue & the back room is great for gigs.

Love this place. It's been years since I've been here on a night out sadly. We tend to pop in once a week during the day. Its quiet. The food is delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. Love the decor, and the place has a nice feel about it....

Christmas drinks with friends. Asked for draft but it was off, they gave me another before I'd even noticed. Not enough toilets but that's nothing new. Accessibility is ok but doors are all manual so this is a sticking point if in a chair or on crutches. All in all a good night.

We have been coming to the tea dance almost since it started on a Thursday afternoon. It's a great place to dance or just listen to the band and gives us young at heart a lot of pleasure.

Great place, great atmosphere, very friendly staff and fab food. Consistently have events here throughout the week to weekends. The only down side to this place is no garden just a roof terrace for smokers thats it. The front full length windows do open up on a summers day which is nice so you get the outside feel. Parking is just in the street or opposite at the park. Overall wouldn't ever hesitate going to the Pictrodrome to meet friends and family.

It is good in the picturedrome but the bar staff could improve the quality and speed of service. There are two girl staff that always look unhappy to be there and just plonk drinks on the bar with no care. Payment is taken and they move on to next customer without even asking if you want a receipt!!! Venue and event achieved the high score.

Went to watch the Rugby on the Cinema screen. You have to book a table well in advance and it's pretty cramped for that kind of event. The food choice was limited but I think everyone enjoyed it, and during the match, they ran a service where you can send your drinks order by SMS, so you don't need to miss the match, queueing at the bar.

Lovely building, an old cinema. Trendy crowd. Shuts at 12pm. If you like it loud and pretentious then this is for you. They have good DJ's and gigs sometimes. Plus sport on a BIG screen. Much nicer over the road in The Olde England.

Went for comedy night, show started at 8.30 so ordered food at 7 with the aim to finish eating before the show started, an hour and a couple of enquiries later we finally get our food and only just manage to finish before the show started, would have been even more peeved if we had paid full price (They have half price mon-thur, although after we ordered they changed the menus on the table so that only the full price menu was on the tables!), food was nice but an hour wait for carbonara, it wasn't worth that long a wait! We hadn't been told at time of ordering that there would be a long wait and we didn't even get an appology for the delay! Show was good though, apart from the middle act, but that's pot luck I guess!
