C. M.Friendly, clean local pub. Limited selection of beer but otherwise very pleasant.
P. W.Charming pub with a good selection of classic fare prepared well. Friendly service. Fun decor. It even has a beer garden. The steak and ale pie is delicious, with a thick flaky crust, but the four cheese penne is just as good.
J. M.Brilliant staff. Made us so welcome. Very patient. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was really good value and was served on a hot plate where relevant. Lots of custard with the delicious puddings. This was our second visit and there were two lots of 4. Will definitely return.

C.Absolute dump... even the taxi driver told me they hate picking up from there. And I've also heard someone had their drink spiked in there. Avoid at all costs !! Should be closed down.

L. W.My son and I went to The Squirrels Inn for an early dinner. The lady behind the bar set up a tab for us while we ordered our drinks.
We decided to share Nachos to start with, I ordered Bubble & Squeak with griddles vegetables and a poached egg, my son ordered a Classic beef burger 🍔
The nachos were just a bowl of chips with a blob of salsa on the top and a tiny container of sour cream, it looked awful. The lady from behind the bar spotted it straight away and took it back to the kitchen, when it came back there was more sour cream and cheese had been added and melted onto the chips it looked the way it should and was delicious.
My sons burger was big, juicy and perfectly cooked, he said that the relish on the burger was amazing, the chips were chunky and delicious.
My Bubble & Squeak was absolutely amazing! It was clearly hand/home made, the egg on top was perfectly poached and the veg was fresh and cooked to perfection. My only comment was that the veg wasn't griddles but honestly I didn't care.
So many places use frozen meals and veg, it was so nice to eat fresh food freshly prepared 🥰
Please don't change, keep on doing what your doing using fresh produce, its delicious!!! 5*****

G. S.At the time I visited this was a valid review, I was there for the wake after a friends funeral and they could not have been more helpful. Assisting with getting my partner in and out of a building that cannot be modified to improve disability access and offering to go over the road and get some irn bru. New management should be in place so cannot comment on how they will be.
