We sampled the Chilli at £6.00 each. Very tasty.

g.Very nice place if you like that sort of thing, which I do. One star off because the first blokes I met supported Chelsea and Man U. But back on cos of the mediocre review from the other reviewer.
Note, it is members-only, costs just over 14 quid a year, though. Not really likely to leave you living on the streets. Been busy, so not tried it on a sports day, but it looks very promising from that point of view.
It has a nice games room, a decent pool table, skittles and the usual trimmings. With its own wide screen TV. Seems like a tidy place.
You can get some food, but it is of the sort that's eaten straight away, the early bird catches the cheese and onion roll.
The lady I assume to be the manageress is firm, but fair.

Always a good selection of, well kept, local real ales.
They've started serving food too: pizza, scampi etc. Great value.
Big function room too if that's what you're after...

N. V.Been recently refurbished, they need to broaden the range of weaker lagers. They only have Fosters, so if you are not a fan of that you have 3 other strong lagers to choose from. Not everyone wants to drink strong lager all night.
