Great value for money. Really healthy portions of Sunday roast with nice selection of vegs and meats. Huge garden and great green location in the middle of the village. Pub is big and spacy so doesn't feel crowded even when it's full.

Lovely pub and garden, most of the furniture in great condition/new. Plenty of garden spaces as well. However, the food was not as great as we expected, but still tasty. Dog friendly. Definitely recommend to people who looks for a nice place to spend their time off.

Really tidied up inside with good quality TVs at the right size and distance. Great for watching stuff while enjoying a few drinks with friends. There's also good pub food on offer served by pleasant staff. Got it all in my view!

First time visit 29/03 with two colleagues to sample the quiz night. Curry and a pint for £10.50 first which we each had one of the choices, all were excellent. The quiz was fun, well managed and a good intermiediate level. The pub itself is bright and welcoming, excellent parking and staff were extremely helpful. Overall an excellent night and we certainly will be returning!

As it being my local, I don't want this to be bias review but as I also don't really do "The Pub" I was amazed at the venue's size and beauty. The staff was amazing with service and is a safe place for kids. Has amazing TV's for you sports goers and a pool table. I had ordered the chicken wings which I thought was expensive but the amount that came and the taste made it all well worth it.. let just say me, my partner and my stepson battled over who had what.. was that good.. if your close.. give it a try, it won't disappoint..

I spent my birthday here, for a meal with my family ,and the meal cooked by amwen, was absolutely fabulous, the staff was exceptional, especially Charlie, she couldn't do enough to please our big party, she was a credit to the restaurant and no task was to big!!!! We had a table of 14 for Xmas lunch aswell as 7 babies and the experience was lovely. All the food came out piping hot and all well cooked. Team were friendly.

Best Christmas meals ever. The starters were amazing, either soup, vegetarian nutty starter and salmon/prawns. Then came plates full of turkey, gammon, roast potatoes, red cabbage and more vegetables on the side, (the meat was 1/4 inch thick, 2 turkey and 2 gammon slices). By the time it came to the desserts, well you can imagine that we were all full, I had chocolate and cherry torte with vanilla ice cream as did another of our party, the lads had cheese and biscuits. That was not the end of the meal, coffee and mince pies followed, those we had wrapped up for later. Great place to eat, brilliant staff and we are booking for later in the year.

It is a 2 minute walk for us which means it gains points for that. Very welcoming staff, nice pub with plenty of choice behind the bar, good garden and a friendly atmosphere. Food is generally very good for the prices, not amazing but doesn't pretend to be. Good pub grub. Will be back there soon.

Staff always cheerful no matter how busy they are. Good selection of meals , the bonus is they do cater well for folk with allergies and intolerances as well as vegans with stand alone menus also menus for little ones well thought out. Special offers always available which helps when counting the pennies. The pub is warm and welcoming and excellent value

Great pub. Relative just moved into village so thought we would try it. Friendly staff nothing too much trouble. Made to feel welcome. Food was excellent and what you would expect from a Green King pub. Worth a visit. We will be back again to try their Sunday lunch it is massive the waitress was struggling to carry the plates!!! 5 stars.

What an amazing place, our second time here. The staff are welcoming as is the atmosphere. The food was hot and filling, and we didn't have to wait long for each serving. The parking is plentiful and there is parking for disabled too. Wheelchair users are welcome also. I only took a photo of the dessert as was too hungry to take pictures of the starters and the chocolate and cherry torte with vanilla ice cream. Excellent. The four of us will be going back for our Christmas dinner next year. If you wish to go there, I advise you to book about October as we did.

Menu states they can't guarantee vegan and vegetarian cross contamination, so if they can't even do that, then coelicas don't stand a chance with gluten c/c. Caring staff. Very clean toilets. Good disabled access. Free parking. Ideal for a break from M1 motorway.

Went out for boxing Day dinner, I can only speak personally in that I absolutely enjoyed my meal, beautiful prawn cocktail and a fantastic Festive burger! Stuffing and bacon on the chips? What a fantastic idea! A wide drinks selection at normal pub prices with a few drinks offers to soften the blow to your wallet. Everyone else at the table had a few issues with their meals but they're not the ones posting this review! All in all. Good stuff!

This has been my local for the past 20 years. In a central location, this pub brings the village together to socialise with bingo, quiz nights and poker nights. Live entertain can also be found here, so something for everyone. The refurbishment recently has given it a clean, modern twist without taking away the fact it is a village pub. Food is good, a much larger menu now than previously, I was very impressed to see the huge menu selection now catering for gluten and diary intolerant guests. This is a family run business, and a very warm welcome is given from management through to kitchen staff. Highly recommend our local to anyone passing through or visitors to the village - us locals already know how brill it is.

Good selection of real ales and a happy hour offer all week on selected drinks from 5.30 to 7.30 I think. Gets rather busy at times and getting served can take a while. Landlord is pleasant but can get a bit grumpy at times. Food is ok to good but not great. Big beer garden and function room.

Fantastic family run pub serving properly cooked and well presented food under the Taylor Walker branding. We visit this pub periodically as a large family group including children aged 2+, and have always found them welcoming and excellent with the kids. Colouring pens and paper are available on request to keep the little ones amused after eating. If you have food allergies be sure to advise the staff on arrival and they will do their best to accommodate you. Overall every visit here has been an enjoyable experience.

This has always been a fabulously located pub in the heart of wotton, and since the recent refurbishment has increased its appeal 10 fold. There is always a choice of places to eat or drink from a little hideaway to the conservatory. I personally was a little disappointed with the food as I had the chicken breast that seemed to have been microwaved in a bag unfortunately, however the burgers went down a storm. Every cloud.. Burgers all the way 🌥️

This pub has a consistently nice atmosphere and an excellent selection of beers. The gardens are lovely in the Summer, and the whole place is generally very clean and tidy. Unfortunately the drinks here are quite expensive compared to other pubs in the area, and this can be a little off-putting. Food, on the other hand, is comparatively priced and of a good standard.

this is part of a chain of pubs. we stopped here for lunch on our way to silverstone. there's a good variety of vegetarian dishes with a haloumi version of fish and chips that is nice and tasty. the serves are a good size and the prices reasonable. the pub is large with lots of seating inside and outside. there's also couches and bar games too. the service is really friendly. only negative was that they were out of serviettes so eating burgers & fish and chips was messy.

I visited the pub on the on Saturday the 18th in the evening for dinner and drinks with friends Lovely experience with food and the staff where wonderful .... there was a group of lads not adhering to social distancing and the land lady had to ask them to please move apart she was polite and they started to verbally abuse her just because she wanted them to move apart bearing in mind they had 11 to a table which isn’t allowed this young lads where completely out of order this was the only down fall to the night ...... all the staff where amazing and really helpful and the food was perfect
