H. L.Take away is delicious, home cooked and provided on a proper plate. (Just take it back when you pick up your next take away) Good sized servings make this excellent value for money.
This has become a regular Thursday night treat. Hubby and I are currently working our way through the menu.
Make sure you order early in the day to ensure the chef has good time to prepare and cook food for you.

Edit, now reopened. Closed all day Mondays and at lunchtime on Wednesday. Food, drink and welcome still awesome. Dogs welcomed.
i.Still producing good home cooked food. It is a takeaway service but served on proper plates, NOT in boxes or foil trays.

R. V. d. L.The moment you step into the pub you would not expect the interior design based of off what you see on the outside. It is a pub with its own character. It has different couches and different tables and chairs spread along the pub. Books to read from, a tv, pencils and paper for the kids to use, and board games to play. Personally I haven't eaten the food since I just stopped by to have a pint and charge my phone which the staff kindly allowed me to do. It is a different pub and maybe a bit strange but an amazing experience nevertheless.

The food is brilliant well cooked and lots of it i recommend the Sunday roasts as there well worth the money and the apple and Cranberry crumble . A good range of beers on tap to choose from will be using this pub a lot now I have found it

V. A.We were tired and it was late'ish to come in for dinner but the lovely barman said we were ok as only 2 of us. We were politely told that to sit with our dog we should go down to the end of the bar which was actually the warmest place right beside a radiator. The food came quickly and was just what we needed. Unfortunately, we had already ordered when we realised that they only took cash ... but when we told the barman we didn't have enough cash with us but were staying in the village and could return to pay the balance the next day he said no worries it happens a lot so just give me your name and address and then pop the payment in when it's convenient. How nice to be trusted and not made to feel guilty that we had not read the notice which was very clear on the menu. Our dog was treated very well and got lots of treats.

The meal and the staff were absolutely fantastic and i could not fault it in any way.
The meal was fulfilling and very good value for money and i will be going again.

G. P.Unexpected pleasure on our last day of recent holiday to Norfolk. £3.75 for homemade lasagne & potatoes, etc. £5 for lovely beef roast. Lovely comfy décor & service. Wolf Brewery beers were excellent as well.
