We had a lovely evening, all of the staff were warm and friendly, helpful and went the extra mile! The bar man went to the trouble to get cucumber and strawberries from the kitchen to add to my 0% alcohol G&T! The waitress took an order of desserts and drinks from the table and brought out the card machine which she could have just said we needed to go to the bar to order! We felt really relaxed and it was a lovely experience. The food was good value, fresh and served with a smile and minimal wait. Well done team!

We didn't book and they were very busy and still managed to squeeze us in - even allowing us to move tables when one became free as we were a bit close to the door and it was cold outside. Our meals were delicious and arrived quickly. Excellent portions - really impressed with the vegetarian options - the curry was amazing and so nice it came with a whole slice of naan bread. We have been lots before and I have always enjoyed my experience. Thank you

This is our regular local where we eat, drink and occasionally participate in the quiz on a Sunday evening. The food and drink is of good quality and value and the staff and management are always helpful and tentative to your needs. As welcoming and hospitable as a local pub should be. Hassle free experience. We have visited here many times previously and always enjoyed a Sunday roast. This was first time ordering using the App. I was surprised how easy and seemless it was to use. The food was delivered correctly and efficiently. Could not fault it. Everything cooked perfectly and importantly, hot.

Booked for 7pm for 10 of us, table was ready, however we were able to sit outside, ordered from the table on the App, all food came out together, hot Cooked perfectly & there were no complaints from anyone! We chose this pub via an unplanned visit whilst walking past due to it looking so inviting, with lots of Halloween decorations up. We ate, and both chose your Hunters Chicken, which was of a very good quality and thoroughly enjoyed. We asked for peas instead of rhe salad garnish, which went very well with the dish. We also then booked for us to return for breakfast and for my son to see Father Christmas in December. All of your staff were friendly and professional. Thank you.

Went for lunch on 9 September but was disappointed with meal sizes. The Hunters chicken from main menu was exactly the same size as the 'lite bite' menu except for 2 small onion rings, but cost £3 more! Lovely pub though and great staff.

We had steak - medium rare - perhaps very slightly underdone but no problem. Both steaks were tasty and almost melt in the mouth. The service was friendly and the wait for our meal good as we understood it was being cooked from fresh. The only downside was we were sat next to the toilet door. This would not have been a problem if it did not close with a very loud bang every time it was used! Slight niggles which reduced the rating by one star. Last time we visited, several years ago, we complained about the dust and dirt this time it was spotlessly clean.

Do you do a cutthroat curry challenge. I did it in a pub in Derby near Oakwood. Marston's pub but can't remember the name of the pub. Was very hot and was it a Naga chilli I had if you do this. I live near Norwich and would love to do that challenge again. Cheers for any feedback.👍

We were greeted with a smile and taken to our table. That was clean and very well laid out with everything that you needed. We both had steak and ale pie and oh boy that was perfection the pastry light and crumblie the meat tender with a beautiful flavour, veg cooked just right and the flavour of the gravy was to die for. We decided to book here because of the 30% main meals, and always enjoyed the food. We booked in advance as there was a few of us, and was asked to email over a pre order, which we did the day before our booking. On arrival we were shown to our table, and once everyone was there I asked our server to let the kitchen know we were ready. All meals came out perfectly, and we were all very happy! We then decided to get desserts which were also lovely! Everyone had an enjoyable time, and we couldn’t fault it!

Pleasant staff and surroundings. Had one of their light lunches which actually is not so light which seems to be the theme nowadays. Probably have to get a certain amount per cover and to then deliver not much for looks bad, but still rather a lot for a light lunch. A bit of attention to cleanliness. We sat outside in one of their pods which has suffered a bit from mould on the wood, this really should be attended to. A comfy cushion in the pods would be good. It's a chain, and not a bad example of the chain. Had an enjoyable rest and more than a bite to eat. Improvements could be made and have marked down because of the mould.

Went for food last night as a friend emailed me their VEGAN menu....a whole menu completely vegan!! How lovely to not have just one item to choose from (like most places) but loads of delicious foods, starter, sides and desserts too....we were in our element. Do something about the play area, see a boy fall from the platform of the play area it's to high, if that was a building site that would have needed scaffolding! For being to high. The boy was hurt and shaken up but ok after awhile. To me it's a safety concern. Food was good
