C. J.Really nice place to chill, have some food and drinks, good prices as well. Went there for a poker night and I really enjoyed it.
a. a.We went to the paddleboarding place in the grounds.of the pub and it was fab!! The staff were lovely and welcoming and we had so much fun!!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and although we was not that busy the atmosphere was really nice, I will definatly be visiting with my family for some food very soon
V. P.Lovely Landlady Julia and landlord Jay made us feel so welcome. The best chef Matty made amazing food. Thursday night is quiz night, and we had so much fun. Quizmaster Roxy is brilliant. Highly recommend this friendly lovely pub. Just all round proper pub. Great atmosphere. Definitely will be going again ❤️
C. G.Booked a table for 11 two couldn't make it. Being a larger number a £5 deposit is required pp. This gets deducted from the bill, however if people don't show this is not refunded. We arrived, nice pleasant welcome. We got shown to our table, we had two dogs with us too. The room was a little cold but no one else was using it, being a Sunday most people opted for a roast. Good selection of meat, however the food was very basic. Clearly Cooked earlier in the day, the dishes were hot but food slightly warm. The proportions were slightly wrong in my opinion, loads of meat hardly any veggies. We were brought extra gravy without asking which was great! as it's almost always a guarantee we will need more.The yorkshires looked great that was probably the best part. Drinks are on the cheap side which was nice but unfortunately no one wanted a dessert after our main and there wasn't much of an option anyway. It's a large venue with lots of potential however there is so much out there now, you have to keep up with the times and hire the right staff. The landlady was lovely, the waitress as well was very sweet, however no uniform was worn.
C. W.Went paddle boarding from here and had a lovely time. Passed several swans and didn't fall in once! Staff were also friendly and helpful.
J. R.A lovely place to sit and have a drink on a sunny afternoon right by the river with lots of outside tables. Paddle boards are also available from here. Can't give a five star as we were planning to eat there but the food we saw going out did not look particularly great and as it was a birthday we wanted something a bit more special..
L. B.I am only giving you 3/5 because this pub has a stunning location and really should be monopolize on this by providing an amazing menu. I will keep coming back because of the location, however I have been let down couple of times now on the food. The staff are happy and polite, so I have given it a 3/5 (But when you compare it to other riverside locations the food does not compare) sorry folks
D. D.Had lunch here yesterday in one of their outdoors pods. Firstly, the service was absolutely outstanding from the moment we arrived. The staff could not do enough to help us, and the chef/owner even came outside to check how we were. The food was really high quality and fantastic portion sizes. We will definitely be back!
