Reviews of Queen of Hearts

Pub restaurant on main road gravelly approach and step into pub. Beer had Abbot Ale on tap. Food was very good. Pleasant staff. Toilet a bit of a trek through pub. Traffic passing detracted from the experience but would recommend pub for food and beer.

A nice pub, especially from the outside when you can sit in the sun having a beverage on a hot sunny day. It was quiet when we arrived at our 1400pm booking which I liked. We came for a carvery on Sunday just gone. Was average. The yorkies were nice. A bit pricey for what we got and you can't plate your own food up like you can at other carvery places. The carvery gets served to you. Otherwise the staff were friendly.

Run by a lovely couple. Good home cooked food, chicken pie is made using 1lb of meat! When we're in the area it's our main go to for Sunday roast. Dog friendly in the bar.

Ian (landlord) was very friendly and helpful , took over the pub 5 years and completely restored it.
Very homely, a good choice on the menu I had whitebait which was delicious ample portion followed by liver and bacon again Hugh portion, very filling and scrumptious.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend this establishment

This was a nice place, very friendly staff. A traditional menu, food was hot. I had a chicken curry, my wife had sea bass. Very nice, will go back. Apparently the Sunday Roast is very good.

Great pub, first class food,we thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming experience, wish it was local to us instead of 280 miles away

Very friendly pub. Had a long chat with the landlord about how his and other pubs are managing. Beer prices very good as it's a freehouse. Will be back to try the food sometime.
