A fine village pub which is so much bigger than it looks! The greeting was friendly and fun, the menu looked great and the gardens were fab. We didnt have food but will certainly return to try the carvery.

Friendly and inviting village pub restaurant. The staff are polite and efficient, the place is presented nicely and is very clean. There is a good range of items on the menu. The portions are generous and the pricing is very reasonable. The reason for the 3 stars is simply due to the lack of flavour in the food. I would have happily had a smaller portion but with much more flavour. I had the turkey, ham and mushroom pie which was huge but just tasted bland which was a let down. Minor adjustment here could make a big difference.

Very busy local pub in village of Hethersett. Varied menu to choose from ,something for everyone. I went midweek lunchtime and only able to get a table for 1.30pm. Proving how poplar this place is. I choose jacket potato with tuna mayo and salad with tonic water as I was driving. My friend had the nachos with port and lemon. I thoroughly enjoyed mine good sized portion nicely cooked potato ideal for lunchtime. My friend had an ample plateful which she also enjoyed. Inside eating for us but for a summer visit plenty of outside table's. Staff attentive and we didn't wait long for our food. If you decide to visit you won't be disappointed.

Good pub with extensive menu. We stopped for lunch on the hottest day of the year - cooler indoors than out! Friendly service, catch of the day (haddock) very good. Two cask ales on the bar - I had the Jackal - and a range of lagers etc.

Visited Queens Head today for lunch with another couple. We were certainly NOT disappointed. Food was superb. Everything was well cooked and nicely presented. Food was, hot, plates were hot also .which is good. Service with a smile😊😊. Reasonably priced. Cannot fault it. We will be back. Angela Rudd

We visited the Queens Head for the first time on Monday as we are on holiday here. The menu is EXCELLENT plenty of choices to choose from, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Good selection of beers to choose from, didn't wait to long for meals to be served, we also went back Tuesday & Wednesday too as we enjoyed our first visit so much. Would advise you to ring and book a table as it can get extremely busy as we found out, well worth a visit and we were certainly not disappointed with what we ate there. Will be going back before our holidays come to a close most definately.

Went for a Sunday carvery and the food was lovely. The main thing for me was how friendly and attentive the staff were, I think all of them made a fuss of my baby and were so reassuring when she'd thrown carvery all over the floor. We will definitely come back for another Sunday lunch!

Returned again with another friend for her birthday and I had the same option of smothered chicken with chips and peas followed by Belgian waffle with toffee sauce & ice-cream, that I picked on my last visit (1 of my favourites). The smothered chicken was delicious & so tender & the chips were really lovely too & of course so was the Belgian waffle. I'm returning back very soon and this time will be taking my family.

Not a local for me (Bham) here for a funeral. This has been a delightful star in our journey. For us this was a super guess as to where to eat, landed on the Queens and what a great choice, menu, food, staff, atmosphere and service. We hit the jackpot. Wish I lived again back in Wymondham (1954 - 1963). Thankyou to all.

Great food amazing staff, have been several times. Sat under the twinkling lighted, heated gazebo for lunch it was delish. Have been here sitting in the garden with our dog who loves it here several times.

We regularly visit the Queen's head and also had our wedding reception there recently. The staff are amazing, they decorated the gazebo beautifully. All of our guests praised the attentive service. A pub that was quiet mid morning yet completely booked out for lunch on a Thursday clearly has a good local reputation. Good service from polite staff as they completely cleaned out the pipes on their pump drinks.

Today we had a lovely family meal after the funeral of my father, we were met by the lovely Sharon who made us feel all so welcome, we were shown to our table and our drinks order was taken, we then selected our meals from the menu and they soon arrived piping hot and looked and tasted superb!!! I could not fault anything. We are all ready looking forward to our next visit!! I would like to give a special mention to Sharon who made our day!! she was professional all the way through and is a major asset to your pub/restaurant. Keep up the great work.

Sunday carvery is busy but popular with families but the food is hot and replacing near empty dishes is smoothly done so the queue moves quickly. There are fish & vegetarian options which comes to you. Sweets are just the right size with a good selection. The staff are attentive without being pushy & friendly. Will certainly visit again.

Spent a quiet Thursday lunch time here while staying in Hethersett for a few days. The service was excellent and the staff very accomodating. The food was delicious, highly recommended!

Large.chain type pub and restaurant. Staff are very pleasant. The car park seems quite small and restrictive considering the size of the pub. Its very tight to maneuver into the parking bays. Menu selection was quite good. Usual pub fayre. Desserts were a little disappointing however. We were told that the chefs deal with the main meals and the waiting staff deal with the desserts.

A prearranged meal for 20+ people. The seating was well arranged. The food - three courses was excellent. Starters delivered to the table efficiently, a good quality carvery for the main course, with the sweet delivered to the table. I will keep this place in mind for a future visit.

Went here on a sunday night and couldn't get in as fully booked, which was a good sign to me, so booked for Monday night and was certainly not disappointed. The food was excellent, service was fantastic and the atmosphere of the place made it pleasant to eat and enjoy meal.
