Fabulous selection of ales if that's your thing. Really nice pub atmosphere. No food served on site, however you can order Indian takeaway from across the road and they will supply you with plates and cutlery. Nice choice of local ales.

The lass and I Popped in here to discuss buying houses in the area. Proper nice pub with a lovely community atmosphere. Great selection of wolf beers and prices closer to the homelands in the north than what you generally find round here. Lovely staff. Real credit to the area

Quite a large, old building. Decent range of real ale. All beer kept very well. You can buy 3 x 3rd flights and they have a discount on the beer of the month.

Friendly community pub. Patrons generally mature. Not exactly a young person's establishment. Staff efficient and friendly. Outdoor seating area quite capacious.

Proper real ale pub, always a good selection. No cooked food but you can order in (if you must!) and they'll provide plates & cutlery.
